The Bass BB Preamp distortion booster was designed to retain the original attack sound and tonal spectrums and produce a variety of gain structures for all bass players. Each of the two broadly-overlapping EQs offers 15dB of Boost or Cut. The gain knob offers pristine clean boost to a hard overdriven distortion which is very nice tone that stays firm, with great note separation and just the right amount of compression for a smooth overall texture.

Das Phat Phuk B ist ein JFET / Germanium Single Circuit Hybrid Booster - ein einzigartig klingendes Pedal, das den Höhen einen schönen Glanz und dem Tone ein wenig Grit verleiht. Es eignet sich besonders in Situationen, in denen man das Output Level anheben möchte und gleichzeitig nach dem 'gewissen Extra' sucht, um den Part besser zu betonen. Natürlich ist es auch ein perfektes Always-On Pedal am Anfang der Signalkette, dass dem Klang des Instruments einen speziellen Charakter mit etwas Grit verleihen kann. Durch den modernen JFET-Transistor in der Input Stage harmoniert das Phat Phuk B problemlos mit aktiven und passiven Elektroniken und Pickups. Während viele Clean Boost Pedale fast zu viel Output Boost bieten, was es aufgrund des weiten Regelbereichs schwierig macht, die perfekte Einstellung zu finden, kommt das Phat Phuk B mit einem bewusst reduzierten Volume-Sweep. Das Pedal bietet trotzdem ausreichend Volume und Gain, durch den verringerten Regelbereich ist es aber deutlich einfacher den Sweet Spot für das eigene Equipment zu finden. Das Wren and Cuff Phat Phuk B muss man einfach probiert haben - die Schönheit liegt in der Einfachheit und die meisten Musiker werden überrascht sein, wie oft er läuft!

The Wren and Cuff Phat Phuk B is a dirty booster effects pedal specifically made for the bass guitar. It is not a clone of any other pedal and was designed to accommodate tunings down to a typical low B and can be used for even lower tunings. The Phat Phuk B is a JFET / germanium single circuit hybrid booster - a unique sounding pedal which adds a beautiful sheen to the top-end and a bit of grit to the overall tone. It's a fantastic pedal for situations where you want a lift in your overall level, during a chorus or bridge for example, with a bit of bawdy bump via the germanium transistor. One nice feature is also the more modern JFET transistor at the input which keeps the pedal impedance-friendly when it comes to active bass pickups. While many clean boost pedals offer almost too much output boost, which makes it difficult to dial in the perfect amount due to the wide control range, the Phat Phuk B comes with a reduced Volume sweep. It is still capable to create a big amount of gain, but the trade-off is worth the extra control, which makes it easier to find the sweet spot for your equipment. Die „Legends Of Fuzz“-Serie ist unsere Hommage an die wichtigsten Fuzz-Schaltungen aller Zeiten. Wir möchten damit sicherstellen, dass die Geschichten dieser Effekte in der Musik, die du machen wirst, weiterleben. Von den Anfängen des Fuzz in der Londoner Szene Mitte der 60er-Jahre bis zu den ehemaligen sowjetischen Militärfabriken der 90er-Jahre, die den Big Muff wieder zum Leben erweckten – Fuzz erzählt Geschichten, und diese Geschichten beinhalten Gitarristen wie dich. From the earliest days of fuzz in the mid-60's London scene to the 1990's ex-Soviet military factories that brought the Big Muff back to life, fuzz tells a story, and that story includes guitarists just like you. There is nothing more primitive than plugging your guitar into a vintage fuzz circuit; it is raw, untamed, and so pure that it pushes the boundaries of what your instrument can accomplish. Plug into a fuzz and plug into sixty years of beautifully broken sound.

The JHS Pedals Bender is an attempt to recreate one of the most popular Tonebenders of all time: The 1973 MK3 Silver/Orange 'Onomatopoeia' version. The JHS Pedals Bender is a pedal that gives you the touch, feel, and response of the vintage germanium fuzz but with accuracy and consistency of carefully chosen modern silicon transistors. The controls are Volume, Tone, and Attack. Volume sets the overall output level of the effect; turn it up and things get louder. Tone lets you sweep between bright and dark tones so that the Bender works well with a range of different amplifiers and guitars. Attack is the distortion control, the more you turn it clockwise, the more fuzz you create. On the side you will see a 'Mode' button that lets you access a never-before-heard 'JHS Mode'. Push that button for more gain and a mid frequency boost to send you leads soaring through the mix. With higher Attack settings in this mode, you will feel the fuzz slightly gate depending on your picking dynamics. Der TS9B ist mit Reglern ausgestattet, die es dem Bassisten ermöglichen, die benötigten tiefen Frequenzen zu erhalten und gleichzeitig das Gefühl und den Klang des originalen Tube Screamers beizubehalten. Das Experimentieren mit den Mix- und Tone-Reglern ermöglicht eine unbegrenzte Anzahl von Sounds und Texturen. Der Spieler kann von „ein bisschen Grit“ bis zu „Full-on“ Overdrive und allem dazwischen gehen.

The TS9B is equipped with controls that allow bassists to preserve the low-end frequencies they need, while still maintaining the feel and tone of the original Tube Screamer. Experimenting with the mix and tone controls allows for a limitless number of sounds and textures. Players can go from just "a little bit of grit" to "full-on" overdrive and everything in-between.

Der TS 7 hält in der aktuellen Tone Lok Pedalserie von Ibanez die Tube Screamer Fahne hoch. Die für diese Zerrer schon traditionelle Farbe Grün war schon beim Vorgänger TS 5 auf dem Rückzug, jetzt gibt es nur noch ein kleines, blasses Fleckchen auf dem ansonsten mattgrauen Kasten. Das Pedal ist etwas größer und leichter als ein TS 9 oder TS 10 und kommt aus China. An der Optik scheiden sich die Geister.

The Ibanez TS7 Tube Screamer comes in a Tone Lok metal case. It features Drive, Tone, and Level knobs, with a switch for choosing between the original TS9 mode and Hot mode, which increases the Drive and Level outputs.

Dieser Umstand ist scheinbar auch Jeorge Tripps, dem Mastermind hinter Way Huge, nicht entgangen, das Portfolio von Way Huge wurde nämlich im Frühjahr 2018 um ein brandneues Overdrive-Pedal ergänzt, das speziell für die Verwendung mit E-Bass entwickelt wurde. Das erste exklusive Bass-Pedal aus dem Hause hört auf den Namen Pork & Pickle und bietet im Wesentlichen die Sounds des Pork Loin und des Russian Pickle Fuzz in einem Gerät.

Eines dieser Geräte war der FA-1 FET Preamp, der schnell seinen rechtmäßigen Platz unter den Klanglegenden fand, als The Edge of U2 ihn bei der Aufnahme von "Unforgettable Fire" verwendete und ihn in seine nachfolgenden Touring-Rigs stellte. Der Clover Preamp / Boost ist eine JHS Interpretation des FA-1, jedoch mit einigen zusätzlichen Funktionen, die diese erstaunliche Schaltung noch besser machen. Du wirst bei deinen Gigs  nicht auf diesen glücklichen Tonformer verzichten wollen! Der Clover ist eine End-All-Preamp / Boost für akustische und E-Gitarren und Bässe. Der EQ ist einfach, kraftvoll und lässt keinen schlechten Klang zu. Während der Clover sich als Vorstufe / Boost für Dirt-Pedale auszeichnet, liegt sein Zauber darin, deinen Tube-Amp in den natürlichen Overdrive zu treiben. Mit dem EQ kannst du deinen persönlichen Sweet Spot einstellen, an dem dein Verstärker nachgibt. Schiebe deinen kleinen Low-Watt Amp in natürlichen Overdrive und Distortion oder finde Sounds in stärkeren Amps, die du noch nie gehört hast. Strat- und Tele-Spieler können mit dem Clover mehr Schlagkraft, Tiefe und Dynamik erreichen, wie sie mit Single Coil Pickups normalerweise nicht möglich sind, während Les Pauls und Humbucker Klarheit, Biss und Definition in Hülle und Fülle erlangen!
