Description
The Scott Henderson signature distortion pedal is developed through a collaboration between Totally Wycked Audio and circuit designer Susumu Tamura, serving as an evolved reinterpretation of the classic Ibanez SD-9 Sonic Distortion architecture. It features a JRC4558 operational amplifier, a modified tone control centered specifically in the lower-mid frequencies to preserve low-end weight on high-register notes, and an increased output level for improved performance in a full band mix. The circuit is housed in a durable die-cast zinc chassis finished with a custom metallic purple powder coat and incorporates premium components such as ALPS potentiometers and WIMA capacitors. It offers true bypass switching along with support for optional 18-volt operation to provide expanded headroom and altered compression characteristics.Media
