Description
The Better Box clean harmonic booster is developed through a collaboration between Totally Wycked Audio and legendary circuit designer Susumu Tamura to enhance guitar signals without conventional overdrive clipping. It incorporates a pure analog design utilizing a NOS OnSemi NE570 Compander IC and internal 30-volt operation to generate increased even and odd-order harmonics. The circuit is engineered to improve sonic clarity, even out frequency response, and provide a punchy, tight pick attack while preserving pitch definition and the fundamental character of the instrument. Housed in a durable enclosure with custom graphics, it serves as a harmonic enhancer, level booster, compressor, equalizer, and preamp designed to push amplifier inputs and drive long signal chains.
