Description

The Origin Effects Halcyon Gold Overdrive is an adaptive analog overdrive pedal based on the classic Klon Centaur circuit. It features proprietary Adaptive Circuitry that allows the pedal's mid-forward voicing to dynamically fade as the guitar's volume is backed off or playing dynamics soften. Control shaping includes an adjustable DRY knob to blend clean signal, alongside a VOICE switch offering standard Klon mid-push or a smoother, broader-spectrum overdrive tone. Designed and built in England, it utilizes high-grade components housed in a premium enclosure with ultra-high input impedance and a high-quality buffered bypass.
