Distortion level can be controlled by pick attack and pickup strength. Harder picking for overdrive and softer for a cleaner tone. With the unique Focus control, you can adjust the feel and dynamics of the pedal as well as overall EQ. Turning Focus CCW you need to play harder to get distortion and the tone is softer, great for jazz and blues. Focus turned CW gives a slight treble boost and earlier distortion great for classic rock.

Das OCD-Pedal ist das einzige Pedal, das zwei MOSFETs verwendet, die als Hard-Clipper auf eine „Spannungsreferenz“ statt wie üblich auf Masse geschaltet sind. Die ersten OCD-Modelle verwendeten zwei MOSFETs sowie eine Germaniumdiode, doch schon bald wurden diese Dioden immer schwerer zu finden und immer teurer.

Vor kurzem bin ich über einen recht großen Vorrat an den richtigen Germaniumdioden gestolpert, also habe ich tief in die Tasche gegriffen und sie alle gekauft. Also beschloss ich, eine Serie des ultimativen OCD zu bauen: ein Custom-Shop-Modell mit ein paar Schaltungsoptimierungen, das 2 x MOSFETs plus 2 x Germaniumdioden verwendet und eine verdammt schöne Lackierung hat... Metallic-Teal mit Chrom-Grundierung! Diese Schönheit wechselt je nach Licht und Blickwinkel zwischen Blau- und Grüntönen. Und was wäre der ultimative OCD ohne eine blaue LED? Der Sound? Tolle Definition, ein eher röhrenähnliches Spielgefühl, ein etwas breiterer Dynamikbereich, mehr Sustain und ein fokussierterer Single-Note-Klang. Und wie bei allen Fulltone-Pedalen... zu 100 % in den USA gefertigt.

The OCD pedal is the only pedal that uses 2 x Mosfets configured as hard-clipping to 'Voltage reference" instead of the usual way: to ground." The earliest OCDs used 2 x Mosfets plus 1 x Germanium diode, but very quickly these diodes became harder and harder to find, and they became expensive.

Recently I stumbled across a reasonably large stash of the right kind of Germanium diodes so I ponied-up and bought all of them. So I decided to do a run of the ultimate OCD: a Custom Shop offering with a few circuit tweaks using 2 x Mosfets plus 2 x Germanium diodes, and one hell of a beautiful paint job... Metallic Teal with a chrome undercoat! This beauty morphs between blues and greens depending on the light and angle. And what would the ultimate OCD be without a Blue LED? The sound? Great definition, more tube-like feel, a bit wider dynamic range, more sustain, and a more focused single-note tone. And as with all Fulltone pedals... 100% Built in the USA.

Designed and built in the UK by Origin Effects, the Cali76 Stacked Edition is a dual-stage studio-grade FET compressor pedal inspired by the classic Urei 1176 rackmount limiting amplifier. The circuit houses two discrete Class-A compression stages wired in series to deliver flexible dynamic control from subtle peak limiting to extreme clean sustain. A dedicated gold Thru control dictates how hard the output of the first stage feeds into the second stage. Independent combined Attack/Release controls for each stage along with a Dry blend knob allow fine-tuning for parallel compression setups. Dual LED VU meters offer clear visual feedback on gain reduction for both compression circuits simultaneously. Housed in a hand-assembled brushed stainless-steel chassis, it features ultra-high input impedance, low-noise electronics, and high-quality buffered bypass switching.

Launched in 1976, the CE-1 Chorus Ensemble was not only the world’s first chorus effect pedal, but also the very first BOSS pedal. Three years later, this inventive new sound was squeezed into the blue CE-2 Chorus, and chorus pedals have remained in the compact lineup ever since. Four decades on, the spacious modulated tone of the signature BOSS effect is still loved by musicians everywhere. In 2016, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of BOSS innovation, the original analog chorus sounds are now reborn with the Waza Craft CE-2W. Und genau dieses Pedal bringt MXR nun in einer peniblen und fachkundigen Wiederauflage in Form des neuen ’74 Vintage Phase 90 heraus. The MXR Phase 90 set the benchmark for phasers, with its thick and rich tone. Dunlop's in-house work horse, purchased in 1974, was meticulously specified and recreated as the '74 Vintage Phase 90. The hand-wired board features select resistors paired with handmatched FETs to achieve the same smooth and warm modulation as the original. Das Catalinbread Topanga emuliert das legendäre Fender 6G15 Federhallgerät, welches quasi die Mutter des Surfsounds und der Soundtracks aller Spaghetti-Western ist. Teil der Magie dieses Hallgerätes war der Umstand, dass es in der Regel vorgeschaltet wurde was schnell dazu führte, dass das Hallsignal verzerrte und noch intensiver klang. Dieser Effekt ist heutzutage nicht so leicht zu reproduzieren, aber Catlinbread hat es mit einem zusätzlichen Preamp tatsächlich geschafft!

The outboard Fender 6G15 spring reverb unit is the sound of Surf guitar, Spaghetti Western and many other great guitar sounds from the sixties. Part of its magic, and how it differs from the internal spring reverb found in most Fender-style amps, is that it is run *in front* of the amp, causing the reverb signal to distort and sound more intense. Because there were additional knobs on the outboard units, you also have more control over the reverb qualities. The Dwell knob controlled how hard the springs were getting hit by the guitar signal. The Tone knob allowed the treble to be dialed back to just the right degree of brightness. It was also essentially a tube preamp, so it would color the sound going into the amp. All this added up to a very distinctive reverb sound with a lot of attitude and complex non-linearities that are hard to replicate. But we here at Catalinbread did just that! Besides giving you the classic three knob control compliment of the original, we’ve also added a great discrete preamp that you can control via the Volume knob for a healthy amount of great clean boost when you want it

Das DISPLAY zeigt die Anzahl der Halbtöne in beide Richtungen an: (-)1 bis (-)12 und (+)1 bis (+)12. Die Latenzzeit bietet die schnellste Leistung aller derartigen Ein-Funktion-Pedale auf dem Markt. Etwa die HÄLFTE der gängigen ähnlichen Einzelpedale. Die Klanggestaltung wurde sorgfältig programmiert, sodass in der Tonhöhe oder Tonart veränderte Akkorde genauso klingen wie der unveränderte Akkordklang. Dieser praktische Ansatz ermöglicht es dem Nutzer, die Tonart digital zu wechseln, ohne dabei die klangliche Integrität beim Spielen des Hauptteils eines Songs wesentlich zu beeinträchtigen. Zu den weiteren Funktionen gehören die MIX-Funktion, mit der sich jede Tonhöhe mit dem trockenen Signal mischen lässt, sowie die FAV-Funktion, mit der ein Lieblings-Preset gespeichert und über die FAV-Taste oder einen nicht rastenden Fußschalter aufgerufen werden kann. The CHUG CAPO is exactly what it says it is. A digital bi-directional Capo.
Just like a Capo, the thought process is familiar to any guitarist because it is linear like the fretboard.
Up & down by semitones…. 12 up & 12 down. That simple. The Arrow button to the right raise pitch by semitone and the Arrow button on the left drops the pitch by semitone. The DISPLAY shows the number of semitones in either direction: (-)1 thru (-)12 and (+)1 thru (+)12. The latency offers the fastest performance of any single function pedal like this in the market. Roughly HALF of popular similar single pedals. The voicing has been meticulously programmed so pitch/key changed CHORDS sound the same as an unaltered chord sound. This practical approach allows the user to digitally change keys with minimum compromise on sonic integrity for playing the body of a song. Fast tempo right hand picking and chugging won’t give the feel of your playing dragging behind due to latency like other pedals. This is the key advantage of the CHUG CAPO.
NOTE: For Solos, some digital artifact is unavoidable and audible as in all pitch manipulators, but the tone remains faithful to the source. Additional features include the MIX function which allows blending of any pitch with the dry signal and the FAV function which allows for one favorite preset to be save and accessible by the FAV button or non-latching footswitch. (footswitch not included,1/8” to 1/4” TS cable is included).
