Fission Bass lets any bassist lay down beds of power by adding stacked harmonies over their bass lines. Through an intuitive set of controls and footswitches, several combinations of octaves, 4th and 5th above the root note combine to produce powerchords or octave-up effects.

The four footswitch LEDs give you visible indication of the selected harmony. When the effect is off, the LEDs dim making it easy to set up a harmony before you kick on the chord. Der Name Orange steht für einen eigenen britischen Ampsound und natürlich ein unverwechselbares Design, das aufgrund der auffälligen, fruchtigen Farbe einen hohen Wiedererkennungswert hat. Effektpedale sind sicherlich nicht die Hauptdisziplin, mit der man die Marke in Verbindung bringt, doch das soll sich wohl ändern, denn 2015 hat Orange zum ersten Mal seit den 60er Jahren einen Schritt in den Bodentretermarkt gewagt.

The Amp Detonator from Orange is the ultimate tool for guitarists who want to use a guitar with two different amplifiers and/or effect chains. Two outputs, each with its own buffer amp, allow the guitar signal to be forwarded alternately or simultaneously, without the need for long cable runs. In addition, a specially developed isolating transformer and a switch for phase reversal ensure noiseless operation without loss of sound.

The Getaway Driver is an amp-in-a-box type pedal with just three dials – Volume, Bite (tone) and Gain. While the pedal adds its vintage vibe on all amplifiers, it really excels when used with the amplifier’s clean channel, even ones with a bright cap. It also makes a great clean boost, with lower Gain and higher Volume settings pushing amps over the edge into classic overdrive.

The gain structure is produced using single-ended JFET circuitry running in Class A, just like a valve amp. The input buffer, output buffer and Cab Sim are handled using op-amps, using a charge pump to give 18v of headroom.

Getaway Driver

The Kongpressor is an analogue Class A compression pedal which adds an organic three dimensional quality to any rig. The pedal takes its inspiration from some of the world’s most iconic vintage optical studio units, employing a re-issue of the famous vactrol VTL5C3 optocoupler that was responsible for the sound heard on countless hit records.

At lower compression levels the Kongpressor’s effect is transparent but somehow fattening. It adds mojo and a glossy sheen to your core tone that you’ll truly miss when it’s bypassed. Even at extreme settings, the tone always remains musical with great feel under the fingers.

Loosely based on the vintage Foxx Tone Machine, the Orange Fur Coat takes its inspiration from great fuzz pedals of the 70s.

The Fur Coat gives you a fully controllable octave fuzz pedal. Separate switches mean you can choose between Fuzz or Octave Fuzz. The controllable Octave up fuzz means you can bring in the fuzz to whatever level you need and the EQ allows you to boost your Treble or Bass. This truly is a fuzz you control.

This is our only True Bypass pedal. This is because a Fuzz is better at the beginning of the chain where it interacts directly with your guitar. Placing the pedal further into your signal chain or after a buffer will give the fuzz a more distorted tone.

It's time to get funky with the Ashdown Envelope Filter. Capable of a wide range of effects from auto-wah through to spaced-out, auto-triggered funky tones, the sweep of the filter can be either up or down with selection of band-pass or high pass filter modes. A peak control is provided to deepen the ‘Q' for more extreme effects and the depth of the effect is controlled by the volume of each note as it's played, making this a truly creative and dynamic pedal.

Sie setzten das Delay oft und gerne ein, neben dem warm klingenden Bandecho-Sound auch wegen seines Preamps, mit dem man einen Amp noch etwas heißer anfahren und zu etwas mehr Zerre überreden konnte.

 The Catalinbread Belle Epoch Tape Echo, has tape echo sounds so authentic you’d swear there was tape inside the pedal! Inspired by the Maestro Echoplex, EP-3 model, perhaps the most famous tape delay ever, the Belle Epoch features everything we love about the EP-3 in a small, maintenance free pedal format. We felt that a “tape echo” pedal was much more than just a standard digital delay with some “filtering” on the repeats. There are a lot of subtle and not-so-subtle traits of the Echoplex that needed to be implemented in order to be authentic. The preamp, the self-oscillation character, the ability to control the “record level” of the signal hitting “tape”, the wow and flutter, the way the repeats decay, the way the circuit interfaces with the amp and other pedals – all these things were important to get right. The original unit was used as a musical instrument unto itself and this is what we captured with the Belle Epoch.

Catalinbread’s Talisman plate reverb is touted as a homage to the plate reverbs of the 70s, famously used on Pink Floyds iconic Dark Side of the Moon album. To clarify, according to Musician on a Mission, plate reverb is “a clever way of imitating the way sound reverberates through a room. Plate reverb units are big, enclosed cases. Hanging inside of the case is a thin metal sheet, aka the “plate.” When a sound is played into a plate reverb unit, vibrations inside of the case create the illusion of reverb“.

Der DC FILTER befreit analoge Signale von jeglicher Gleichspannung. Audiosignale mit einem Gleichspannungsanteil erzeugen beim Umschalten sehr unangenehme Umschaltgeräusche. Linesignale sowie hochohmige Signale werden bereinigt - der Sound wird dadurch nicht beeinflusst. Der DC FILTER ist stereo ausgelegt und kann dadurch Stereo- und natürlich auch Monosignale filtern. Sogar symmetrische Signale kann dieser kleine Helfer verarbeiten. Der DC FILTER ist als passiver Filter konstruiert, d.h. Sie benötigen für ihn keine Stromversorgung.

The LEHLE DC FILTER eliminates DC voltage from analog signals. Audio signals containing DC voltage cause ugly switching noise. Now, both line and high-impedance signals are cleaned - but with no loss of sound. The DC FILTER is of full stereo type, and thus filters stereo - and, of course, mono - signals. This little aid can even process balanced signals. The LEHLE DC FILTER is a passive filter, so it needs no power supply.
