Description

Designed for both stage and studio applications, this stereo valve acoustic preamp and active direct injection unit delivers studio-quality warmth, natural compression, and harmonic richness for acoustic instruments. Channel A features an ECC83/12AX7 vacuum tube layout equipped with a heat control to adjust upper-mid frequency gain and compression characteristics for active or passive instrument pickups. Channel B offers a clean, transparent solid-state topology with selectable inputs for instruments or microphones alongside switchable 48V phantom power. Both channels incorporate independent three-band equalizers with semi-parametric mid controls, phase inversion switches, dedicated effects loops, and balanced XLR outputs to manage complex dual-source live configurations. Additional onboard features include a stereo digital reverb section, master volume controls, and a ground lift utility to eliminate unwanted stage noise and hum. Built by hand in the United Kingdom, the heavy-duty metal enclosure bridges the gap between traditional acoustic transparency and vintage tube-driven saturation.
