I'm about a 1/3rd of the way to having my dream pedalboard. Still have more pedals and the board to purchase, then of course there's the building process but that won't be an issue. Many years ago, I rebuilt Fender Deluxe Reverb reissue amps by stripping the chassis bare, then rebuilding the entire amp by installing my PTP hand-wired G10 board, along with Mercury Magnetics power, output, and reverb transformers and choke, along with rewiring the entire amp with Teflon silver coated wire.

After adding some good tubes, biasing them up correctly, and popping in a nice speaker like a Weber C12N, the difference in tonal complexity was astounding. I had some great pedals at the time that everyone raved about, but through my stock reissue DR, they only sounded "OK" to my ears, so I didn't see what all the fuss was about. But after rebuilding the amp, my pedals suddenly sounded incredible, and I could hear nuances that I'd never heard before. It was literally like someone removed a blanket from the front of the speaker. So, wiring up the pedalboard won't be an issue, it will just take time, testing and will be a bit tedious.  

I'm so glad I found Rockboard. I've been planning and working on the design of my board for the last 8 months or so and have been checking out tons of different pedalboards. No matter what board I looked at, I either couldn't fit all of the pedals I wanted onto the board or had to buy a board so large that I would wind up with a lot of unused space. But the Rockboard Cinque 5.2 pedalboard looks to be absolutely perfect for what I need and have been looking for. It's not too large and I was able to place every pedal I wanted to use on the board with enough space between pedals for cable routing. And IMHO, it's very reasonably priced and comes with a soft case. Many other board companies don't have or offer cases for their boards, so you'd have to scour the internet to try to find a suitable case. 

I designed this board with the primary focus on worship & ambient tones to play on a silent stage at church. But at the same time, I'm old school rock & roll so I also needed the board to have the flexibility to play hard rock, blues, funk, etc. 

TIP: the addition of the KMA EndGame pedal will be a gamechanger and it's the most incredible utility pedal I've ever seen. That pedal does so many things it just blows my mind. Just off the top of my head, it contains a stereo effects loop, so I'll run my mono pedal chain into the EndGame and then use the stereo effects loop to run my stereo modulation pedals. Since it handles stereo, there's also a ground/phase switch to keep everything in line. 

It has a doubler for thickening tone, 2 headphone outputs so I can jam with another player, along with Bluetooth so I can run tunes wirelessly into the EndGame for jamming or practice. 

There's built in Cab IR's. I can use the built in IR's, download more IR's from KMA's software, or I can upload any IR's I'd like. Or I can bypass the KMA IR's and use the IR's built into the Friedman IR-D, so lots of choices and flexibility.

Another biggie is that it contains buffers so the output signals to either the house mixer or amps will be strong. That will complement the Source Audio Zio, which is the first pedal in the signal chain that I'll be plugging my guitar into. The Zio has a buffer with a 1M ohm input impedance, perfect for a guitar's pickups, and has a 
150ohm output impedance, as close to perfect as I've seen. So, I'll plug into the Zio first, which will then send a strong buffered signal into the rest of the effects chain. Then, the last pedal in the effects chain will be the EndGame, which with its buffers, will send a strong & clean buffered signal into either the house mixer or amps.

But IMO, the main benefit of the EndGame is that it's also a direct box and has 2-XLR outputs so I can run stereo directly to the stage box, which then sends my stereo signals directly to the house mixer. But it also contains 2-1/4" outputs so I can also run stereo into my 2 Deluxe Reverb's or any other amps. Or I could use those 1/4" outputs to run a pair of powered stage monitors. It also has the capability of running the signals into in-ear monitors, but I haven't checked into that as the church has a separate IEM system that player's use. There's more that I'm forgetting, but the EndGame has so many features that it was the first pedal I bought when initially designing this board.

Das Ziel bei der Entwicklung des ZIO Analog Front End + Boost war einfach, aber ehrgeizig: 'Make Everything Sound Better!' ZIO ist das erste komplett analoge Effektpedal von Source Audio und wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit Christopher Venter, dem Eigentümer und alleinigen Ingenieur von SHOE Pedals, entwickelt. Das ZIO ist ein extrem flexibles Pedal, das für viele Anwendungsmöglichkeiten an verschiedenen Stellen im Signalweg genutzt werden kann: Am Anfang der Effekt-Kette, um den Gesamt-Sound zu verändern, nach den Drive Pedalen entweder als 'Tone Sweetener' oder als Clean Volume Boost, sowie am Ende des Signalwegs, um lange Kabelstrecken auszugleichen oder um den Klang einer Gitarre nachzubilden, die direkt in den Eingang des Verstärkers geht. Die Pitch Fork von Electro Harmonix in unserem aktuellen bonedo-Test beweist einmal mehr, dass auch Pitch-Shifter Effektpedale inzwischen für jedes Budget erschwinglich sind. Dieser Effekt, der in den Achtzigern in einigen berühmten Gitarrenaufnahmen auftauchte, war damals für uns “normale” Musiker kaum erschwinglich. Aber diese Zeiten haben sich glücklicherweise geändert. Pitch-Effekte sind inzwischen im Effektangebot vieler Hersteller zu recht günstigen Kursen zu finden.

The EHX Pitch Fork transposes an instrument’s pitch over a +/- three octave range and features three modes which allow the pitch to be transposed up, down or both, simultaneously. The pitch shift amount can be set to a fixed interval or continuously varied by an expression pedal or control voltage.

The Sir-Compre is an optical compressor pedal with a Friedman twist. The compressor controls include volume, treble, compression and a tight knob. The twist is the included wide-range gain knob. The Source Audio One Series Collider Stereo Delay+Reverb combines two of the most popular effect types in one simple and intuitive pedal. Drawn from the effect engines of the award-winning Nemesis Delay and Ventris Dual Reverb, Collider offers the best delay and reverb effects in one compact, no-compromise package. The pedal allows for any combination of its five delay engines with any of its seven reverb effects and has dedicated ON/OFF switches for each effect. It is also possible to create independent dual delay or dual reverb presets. The pedal has dedicated MIDI input/output as well as support for expression control and remote switching. The Collider contains two completely independent 56-bit DSP processors, essentially housing a high-powered delay pedal and a high-powered reverb pedal in a single box.
