Der Fuzz war der erste Distortion-Pedaltyp überhaupt. Bis heute übt der Retro-Sound dieser Vintage-Pedale aus den 1960ern eine magische Anziehungskraft auf Gitarristen aus. Für das FZ-1W wurden zahlreiche Pedal-Legenden aus dieser Zeit bis ins Detail analysiert.
