Das DS-1 Distortion wurde 1978 als Teil der zweiten Compact Pedal-Welle vorgestellt. Mit seiner kantigen Attack und dem smoothen Sustain überzeugte es Gitarristen weltweit und prägte den Sound zahlreicher Rock-Legenden. Diese Begeisterung hält bis heute an und macht das DS-1 zum meistverkauften BOSS Pedal aller Zeiten.
Anlässlich 40 Jahren BOSS Pedal Innovationen, haben wir nun eine Sonderedition des DS-1 veröffentlicht, deren schwarzes Gehäuse goldene Buchstaben zieren, und das durch vergoldete Regler und eine Flügelschraube in Vintage-Silver zum Verschließen des Batteriefachs im Pedalboard wie auch in der Vitrine für Aufsehen sorgt. Das Pedal ist in einer edlen Box mit dem 40 Jahre BOSS-Jubiläumslogo verpackt und nur 2017 erhältlich.

The DS-1 Distortion was introduced in 1978 as part of the second wave of compact pedals. With its edgy attack and smooth sustain, it won over guitarists around the world and shaped the sound of numerous rock legends. This enthusiasm continues to this day and makes the DS-1 the best-selling BOSS pedal of all time.
To mark 40 years of BOSS pedal innovations, we have now released a special edition of the DS-1, the black housing of which is decorated with gold letters and which attracts attention with gold-plated controls and a wing screw in vintage silver for closing the battery compartment in the pedal board and in the display case. The pedal is packaged in an elegant box with the 40-year BOSS anniversary logo and is only available in 2017.
