The BOSS DS-1 is without a doubt one of the most famous distortion pedals out there.
Since the late ’70s and until today, this little orange pedal offers a compressed, British stack style distortion with an easy control layout – Distortion, Tone and Level.

The BOSS DS-1 is not a subtle pedal but not brutal either, it retains its characteristics with most type of pickups and it is really a great pedal for beginners and pros alike.

Der JHS Pedals Bender gibt Gitarristen den Touch, das Feeling und das Ansprechverhalten eines Vintage Germanium Fuzz mit der Genauigkeit und Beständigkeit von sorgfältig ausgewählten, modernen Silizium-Transistoren. Die Regelmöglichkeiten sind mit Volume, Tone und Attack denkbar einfach. Volume kontrolliert das Output Level, Tone bietet einen schönen Sweep von hellen zu eher dunklen Sounds, damit der Bender ohne Probleme mit allen denkbaren Tonabnehmern und Verstärkern harmoniert. Dabei bleibt der Tone-Regler so flexibel, dass sich unzählige klangliche Möglichkeiten umsetzen lassen, von den die meisten Fuzz-Nutzer nur träumen können. The JHS Pedals Bender is an attempt to recreate one of the most popular Tonebenders of all time: The 1973 MK3 Silver/Orange 'Onomatopoeia' version. The JHS Pedals Bender is a pedal that gives you the touch, feel, and response of the vintage germanium fuzz but with accuracy and consistency of carefully chosen modern silicon transistors. The controls are Volume, Tone, and Attack. Volume sets the overall output level of the effect; turn it up and things get louder. Tone lets you sweep between bright and dark tones so that the Bender works well with a range of different amplifiers and guitars. Attack is the distortion control, the more you turn it clockwise, the more fuzz you create. On the side you will see a 'Mode' button that lets you access a never-before-heard 'JHS Mode'. Push that button for more gain and a mid frequency boost to send you leads soaring through the mix. With higher Attack settings in this mode, you will feel the fuzz slightly gate depending on your picking dynamics. If you want a fuzz that can go from middle of the road crunch distortion to full out aggression, the Bender is for you. The tone control is extremely flexible and allows for dozens of sonic variations that most fuzz users only dream about. If you love the fuzz sounds of Led Zeppelin, Jeff Beck, The Beatles, Mick Ronson (David Bowie), and My Bloody Valentine, then the Bender is for you.

Der LAB ist ein optischer Kompressor. Er verwendet spezielle Optokoppler, um eine musikalisch klingende Kompression von bis zu 30 dB zu erreichen.
Wir fanden es toll, wie die alten optischen Kompressoren wie der LA-2A, der LA-3 und der LA-4 im Aufnahmestudio selbst bei starker Kompression weich und natürlich klangen.

Die Essenz des LAB-Klangs kommt von den schnellen Attack- und langsamen Release-Zeiten des speziellen Optokopplers. Das Verhalten des Optokopplers ist recht komplex und programmabhängig. Es kann nicht mit einfachen Widerstands-Kondensator-Netzwerken modelliert werden. Wir wollten, dass das reine Verhalten des Optokopplers die Dynamik des LABs bestimmt und nicht durch RC-Filterung ergänzt wird.

The LAB is an optical compressor. It uses custom optocouplers to achieve up to 30dB of musical-sounding compression.
We loved how in the recording studio even with tons of compression the old optical compressors such as the LA-2A, the LA-3, the LA-4 sounded smooth and natural.

The essence of the LAB's sound comes from the fast attack and slow release times of the custom optocoupler. The optocoupler's behaviour is quite complex, and program-dependent. It can't be modelled with simple resistor-capacitor networks. We wanted the pure response of the optocoupler to define the LAB's dynamics, and not supplement that with RC filtering.

With just two knobs and a switch, the Deep Phase Pedal offers a wide range of phase tones, from subtle liquid shifting to thick, swirling turbulence. The Speed knob adjusts the effect rate, while the FDBK knob adjusts the intensity and sharpness of the phase peaks. By default, the Deep Phase Pedal runs on 4 phase shifter stages for a smooth effect. The Mode II switch doubles that to 8 stages for twice the number of peaks and a more animated texture.

Der Stromverbrauch beträgt 15 mA.  

Die Deluxe-Version kommt mit einer Holzbox, einem Bandana und einem lasergravierten Emblem.  

Die Bean Counter-Version besitzt ein siebgedrucktes Grafikdesign, das dem Emblem ähnelt, und wird ohne spezielle Verpackung geliefert.

Das Digitech Freqout Natural Feedback Creator Effektpedal gehört zu den eher exotischen Vertretern im Pedalboard. Es widmet sich der Erzeugung von Rückkopplungen, die zwar zum Repertoire jedes gepflegten (Rock-) Gitarristen gehören, aber üblicherweise nur mit entsprechender Lautstärke und der Interaktion zwischen Amp, Box und Gitarre möglich sind. Mit dem E-Bow, der seit Mitte der 70er Jahre erhältlich ist, gibt es bereits ein Werkzeug, das die Saiten per Magnetfeld beliebig lang in Schwingung versetzt, indem es über die gewünschte Saite gehalten wird. Oder den Sustainer von Fernandes, ein Pickup, der ebenfalls die Saiten zum Schwingen bringt, wenn er per Schalter dazu aufgefordert wird. Und natürlich muss beim Umbau der Gitarre einer der vorhandenen Tonabnehmer dem Sustainer weichen.

ome might say we’re driven. When our engineers lock themselves in our sound design labs for months on end, you might say we’re obsessed. We have been dedicating ourselves to forging a collection of the most organic, luscious, expressive, and versatile modulation effects ever heard.

It was an enormous mission—we painstakingly studied the nuances of the legendary modulations of celebrated tremolo effects, phaser pedals, chorus units, and more from the last five decades. We didn’t stop at faithfully capturing these warm and lush vintage sounds—we expanded their vocabulary with extended versatility and sonic possibilities never before heard.

When we decided to create a studio-class stereo delay effects pedal, we knew we must go well beyond what has been done in the past—in sound quality, sonic flexibility, hardware design, and processing power. VISION is a dual channel modulation pedal, supporting stereo input and output. Both of the two effects have independent SPEED/RATE, CONTROL, and DEPTH/MIX knobs. In the middle of the panel, a 3-position toggle switch is used for choosing the sequence of the two effects’ output. Besides, each channel features 9 effects, you can adjust various tones with the independent Tap Tempo control.
