This pedal board can be toggle between wet/dry/wet, stereo, or mono using an ABY switch installed under the board. 

The loop switcher controls 2nd row pedals: POG. AC, TS9, OCD, 1981, and the Strymon pedals using MIDI.

The Y-Not MIDI enabled A/B/Y switch is designed to be an all-in-one solution for switching one audio signal to two outputs.

Use the Y-Not to switch between two amps (for example, a clean amp and a dirty amp), or use it to switch between the inputs of a two input amp. The Y-Not is able to do this cleanly and transparently, without any of the problems associated with traditional A/B boxes.

The new Y-Not version 2.0 includes some very useful new features. One is programmable phase inversion on the B output. This allows you to run two channel switching amps simultaneously and adjust the phase on the fly so that every combination of channels is in phase. This was previously only available as a mod, but is now a standard feature.

Also new for version 2.0 is a “TRS In” switch that, when engaged, allows you to use a piezo-equipped guitar or other 1/4-inch TRS audio source. The tip of the TRS jack will be sent to the A output, and the ring of the TRS jack will be sent to the B output. This allows you to have automated switching between magnetic and piezo signals from your guitar, sending each signal to its own amp.

A uniquely designed steel enclosure made with quality components throughout. My goal was to spare no expense. I realize that sometimes in the world of guitar gear, there isn’t always one answer in choosing the best components and designs, so I just picked my favorites. This includes Switchcraft 11 open frame jacks, and a super quiet soft touch switching system via an internal relay.

I have been working on this project for the better part of three years, as a collaboration and with engineering by Jon Ashley of Bondi Effects. I feel that the pedal is unique in design and sonically unlike anything I have ever heard, especially in the lower gain and boost settings. There is a subtlety that feels more like a vintage pedal than a modification of a classic. There are two circuits present in the pedal, one distortion and one preamp boost, running at 18v via an internal voltage regulator. I made this pedal with the idea to create a distinction for my own sound, and what I found is that it is an extremely useful tool for capturing a lot of different types of sounds. I am most proud of the lower gain side, as I feel it is the most unique section of the pedal, but I must also include that the gain section is extremely sweet sounding throughout, especially for heavy and complex chords. There is a midrange punch that I love and a warmth and thickness that reminds me a bit of a ribbon mic. When the development of this pedal turned into something new and unique, it became the catalyst to starting 1981 Inventions, so I decided to make this the first official release.

When we decided to create a studio-class stereo delay effects pedal, we knew we must go well beyond what has been done in the past—in sound quality, sonic flexibility, hardware design, and processing power. We spent months locked up in the Strymon sound design labs dreaming up the most spacious, lush, creative, and tweakable delay effects ever heard. It was a monumental task—a relentless study of delays and their nuances, and a continuous pursuit of innovative and musically inspirational sounds. Lenny, frontman of M.O.T.H.E.R. from Biel/Bienne, brings a sound that’s gritty, raw, and full of attitude. With punchy riffs and a voice to match, he builds his core tone by pushing his amp hard—no classic drive pedals needed. Instead, both EQs (BOSS GE-7 and MXR Ten Band) are used as powerful boosts, slamming the amp into that unmistakable, edge-of-breakup tube growl.

Central to his setup is the RhPf Electronics Tri-Hormonic Phalanx. Lenny sets the highs and lows for clean, focused boost, while the mids get dialed in for a crunchy, saturated bite. This lets him carve out punch and clarity, while the midrange cuts through with emotion and grit—never muddy, always bold.

Modulation and color come from the Orange Phaser, BOSS Harmonist, Multi Overtone, and Echoplex Delay, with the Hall of Fame 2 adding depth when needed. Power and routing are handled by the Truetone 1Spot Pro and Radial Catapult.

M.O.T.H.E.R.’s songs are all about storytelling with soul—sometimes chaotic, sometimes beautiful, always real. Lenny’s rig is built for that: flexible, dynamic, and ready to deliver every shade of feeling, from heartbreak to pure rock and roll joy.

MO-2 Multi Overtone

The Echoplex EP-3 tape echo unit is famous for its deliciously warm, organic modulation and sweet musical voice—a key component to some of the most iconic guitar tones from the '70s onward. The original EP-3 units, however, are expensive, temperamental, and larger than a VCR.

That's where the EP103 Echoplex Delay comes in. It's the size of a Phase 90, and it delivers the EP-3's legendary tones with a simple control interface and a hi-fi all-analog dry path. The Delay control sets the time between repeats—from 65ms to 750ms—the Sustain control sets the number of repeats, and the Volume control sets the output level of your repeats.
