Obwohl Pitch Shifting (Verschieben der Tonhöhe) und Harmonist (Zufügen eines Zusatztons beim Solospiel z.B. einer Terz) eher spezielle Effekte sind, hat sich der BOSS PS-5 weltweit in stolzen Stückzahlen verkauft!

Hier kommt der Nachfolger PS-6: Der Hauptunterschied zum PS-5 ist die Möglichkeit, auch ZWEI Zusatztöne zu erzeugen, für dreistimmige Soli (Harmonist-Mode) oder für fetteste Akkorde, die in Wirklichkeit unspielbar wären (Pitch Shifter-Mode) oder für extreme Schwebungen, stärker als bei jedem Chorus (Detune-Mode) und Spezialeffekte, die mit dem normalen Vibratohebel einer Gitarre nicht möglich wären (Super Bend-Mode).

Dank eines Prozessors der neusten Generation glänzt der PS-6 mit extrem schneller Tonerkennung und Ansprache plus allerbester Soundqualität der Zusatztöne.

Although pitch shifting (shifting the pitch) and harmonist (adding an additional tone when playing solo, for example a third) are rather special effects, the BOSS PS-5 has sold in impressive numbers worldwide!

Here comes the successor PS-6: The main difference to the PS-5 is the possibility of generating TWO additional tones, for three-part solos (Harmonist mode) or for the fattest chords that would in reality be unplayable (Pitch Shifter mode) or for extreme beats, stronger than with any chorus (detune mode) and special effects that would not be possible with the normal vibrato lever of a guitar (super bend mode).

Thanks to a processor of the latest generation, the PS-6 shines with extremely fast tone recognition and response plus the very best sound quality of the additional tones.

The BOSS Phaser PH-2, featuring 12 stage phase shift circuits, allows stronger effect than any other phase shifting unit. Two completely different phase effects are optional just by changing the position of the knob. Adopting antilogarithm circuit in the filter, the PH-2 gives smooth modulation effect. The indicatior lights up when the effect is on, so that you can at a glance tell whether the effect is on or off.
