Thanks to its analog circuitry and three effect modes, the EBS MultiDrive SE impresses with a particularly harmonious overdrive sound for electric bass. In standard mode, the pedal delivers a sustain-extending overdrive that leaves the low frequencies untouched for a powerful sound thanks to the high-pass filter. In “Tubesim” mode, on the other hand, the EBS Multidrive impresses with a harmonic distortion sound whose authentic tube character adds a warm, natural compression and harmonic overtones, while the “Flat” mode feeds the entire frequency range to the gain stage. The degree of distortion can be adjusted via the Drive control, while Volume regulates the output volume.

Das CS-3 basiert auf einer leistungsfähigen VCA-Schaltung, die eine stabile und gleichmäßige Kompression mit minimalem Grundrauschen ermöglicht. Je mehr du den Regler zurückdrehst, desto softer werden die Höhen, was einen warmen, weicheren Sound erzeugt, der sich besonders für Genre wie Jazz und Neo Soul eignet. Ganz egal, ob du eine Extraportion Biss oder Samt benötigst – mit dem CS-3 kannst du deinen Sound flexibel an deine Musik anpassen.

Compression evens out volume differences by lowering loud sounds and raising quiet ones. The CS-3's Attack knob lets you set how quickly the circuit makes this adjustment. Turning it clockwise preserves string attacks more strongly and creates a crisper, more percussive sound. The more you turn the knob counterclockwise, the more the signal peaks are reduced. The sustain knob controls the strength of the compression and ensures a tight sound and natural sustain without distortion.
The CS-3 is based on a powerful VCA circuit that provides stable and consistent compression with minimal noise. With its characteristic balanced response and compression characteristics, the pedal delivers transparent sound across all playing styles.
