Das RockBoard MOD 4 - All-in-One Wireless System Receiver + Patchbay für Pedalboards bietet eine einfach zu realisierende, kabellose Verbindung zwischen deinem Instrument und deinem Pedalboard. Die A, B, C und D TRS Buchsen sind als direkte, durchgängige Verbindungen von der Vorderseite des MOD 4 zu den entsprechenden Buchsen auf der Rückseite verkabelt. Damit kannst du deine Effekt-Kette so einrichten, dass du bei der Vorbereitung auf den Gig lediglich Kabel an der Vorderseite des Boards einstecken musst, anstatt unter dem Board zu hantieren.

The wireless system works in the 2.4 GHz ISM band for unlimited worldwide use and offers a full 20 Hz - 20 kHz frequency range with only 5 ms of latency. The patchbay module is designed to route connections from underneath your pedalboard to its front, giving you a central access point and tidying up your connections. The A, B, C, and D TRS sockets are wiring thru-connections from the front of MOD 4 to the corresponding sockets on the back. This allows you to connect your pedals permanently underneath the board, so you only have to connect cables to and from the front of the board, instead of having to route underneath it when setting it up for a gig.

Die Firma Roland gibt es bereits seit 1972. Sie stellt unter verschiedenen Markennamen eine Vielzahl an Instrumenten, Verstärkern, E-Drums, Synthesizer etc. her. Für Gitarristen und Bassisten ist dabei vor allem der Name Boss interessant. Unter dieser Marke kümmert sich Roland seit Jahrzehnten mit hochwertigen Effekten um unsere Bedürfnisse. Die Homepage der Company listet allein sieben spezielle Basseffekte auf. Wer gleich eine ganze Vielzahl an unterschiedlichen Effekten sucht, diese gerne auch nach Herzenslust miteinander kombiniert und dabei nicht lauter einzelne Bodentreter mitschleppen möchte, greift zu einem Multieffekt. Auch in diesem Bereich hat Boss gleich drei Geräte zur Auswahl. Der jüngste Spross ist das GT-1B, welches eine Lücke schließen soll, die so manchen Bassisten bislang vor einem Multieffekt hat zurückschrecken lassen – das Problem der einfachen Bedienung! Aufgrund der Funktionsvielfalt gleichen Multieffekte nämlich schnell mal einem Computer und man muss sich nicht selten durch Tastenkombinationen und diverse Untermenüs graben, um Zugriff auf den gewünschten Parameter zu erhalten. Der SansAmp Bass Driver DI ist viel mehr als nur eine Direktbox. Er kann große Vintage-Röhrensounds, helle moderne Slap-Sounds, knorrige Verzerrungen und alles dazwischen erzeugen. Drei verschiedene Ausgänge zum Ansteuern von Endstufen, Aufnahmepulten, PA-Mischpulten oder einfach zum Verbessern Ihres aktuellen Rigs. Zu den Reglern gehören Presence für die Definition und den oberen Obertongehalt, Blend, um das Verhältnis von Direktsignal und SansAmp-Schaltung zu kombinieren, und ein aktiver EQ, der mit 12 dB Absenkung oder Anhebung speziell auf den Bass abgestimmt ist.

Da die Popularität von 5- und 6-saitigen Bässen den Status einer Modeerscheinung überschritten hat und zum Mainstream geworden ist, haben wir einen Schalter hinzugefügt, mit dem die Bassfrequenz so eingestellt werden kann, dass sie auch in die tieferen Lagen reicht. Mike Matthews, the founder of Electro-Harmonix, is a colorful figure. The hippie movement and Jimi Hendrix's evolution of the electric guitar served as a catalyst for him to develop the Big Muff distortion unit, which is still popular today. After phenomenal growth of his company in the golden age of rock'n'roll, the 1970s, disillusionment followed in the early 1980s - and finally bankruptcy.
