Das 1967 von VOX eingeführte Wah-Wah-Pedal entstand aus der Midrange-Boost-Funktion eines VOX-Verstärkers und wurde zunächst als Möglichkeit vermarktet, den Klang einer gedämpften Trompete zu emulieren. Es wurde jedoch bald für Rockgitarristen überarbeitet und als V846 neu aufgelegt, um mit dem unbeabsichtigten, aber musikverändernden Einsatz bei E-Gitarren von berühmten Künstlern wie Jimi Hendrix und Eric Clapton Schritt zu halten. Von den 1960er Jahren bis heute ist das Wah-Pedal zu einem unverzichtbaren Werkzeug für Gitarristen geworden.

Das neue V846 Vintage Wah-Pedal bildet dieses zweite Wah-Modell bis auf die Bauteilebene perfekt nach. Die VOX-Ingenieure haben hart daran gearbeitet, die Geheimnisse des Vintage V846 Wah-Modells zu entschlüsseln, und das Ergebnis ist ein Pedal, das die exakten klanglichen Eigenschaften akribisch nachbildet.

Das V846 Vintage verfügt über ein durchsetzungsfähiges Klangprofil mit einem erweiterten Frequenzgang und einer starken Betonung der hohen Frequenzen – perfekt für die Kombination mit Fuzz für klassische Rock-Sounds.

Introduced by VOX in 1967, the wah-wah pedal evolved from the mid-range boost function of a VOX amplifier and was initially marketed as a way to emulate the sound of a muted trumpet. However, it was soon reworked for rock guitarists and re-released as the V846 to keep pace with its unintended but music-changing use on electric guitars by famous artists such as Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. From the 1960s to today, the wah pedal has become an indispensable tool for guitarists.

The new V846 Vintage Wah pedal perfectly replicates this second wah model down to the component level. VOX engineers have worked hard to unlock the secrets of the Vintage V846 wah model, and the result is a pedal that meticulously recreates its exact tonal characteristics.

The V846 Vintage has an assertive sound profile with an extended frequency response and a strong emphasis on high frequencies - perfect for combining with fuzz for classic rock sounds.

The EHX Neo Holy Grail is an update to our wildly popular compact digital reverb, the Holy Grail. It contains three reverb algorithms: SPRING, HALL, and PLATE. All three algorithms were designed and tailored for the electric guitar, but they work equally well on most instruments and voices.

The SPRING algorithm is a re-creation of the classic spring reverbs that are found in many guitar amplifiers. The HALL algorithm simulates the reverberations heard in large spaces such as a concert hall or cathedral. The PLATE algorithm is an emulation of a metal plate reverb commonly found in high end recording studios during the 1960s and ‘70s. The PLATE reverb is a very smooth, tonally balanced sounding reverb that sounds great on many different instruments, especially vocals. True bypass switching ensures your tone won’t be affected when the pedal is bypassed.

Über den Attack-Regler des CS-3 legst du fest, wie schnell die Schaltung diese Anpassung vornimmt. Durch das Drehen im Uhrzeigersinn bleiben Saitenanschläge stärker erhalten und sorgen für einen knackigeren, perkussiven Klang. Je mehr du den Regler gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehst, desto mehr werden die Signalspitzen abgesenkt. Der Sustain-Regler steuert die Stärke der Kompression und sorgt für einen straffen Sound und ein natürliches Sustain ohne Verzerrungen.
Das CS-3 basiert auf einer leistungsfähigen VCA-Schaltung, die eine stabile und gleichmäßige Kompression mit minimalem Grundrauschen ermöglicht. Mit seinem charakteristischen, ausgewogenen Ansprech- und Kompressionsverhalten sorgt das Pedal für einen transparenten Klang über alle Spielstile hinweg. Ob knackige Country-Licks, druckvolle Power-Chords oder singende Soli – das CS-3 überzeugt als unverzichtbares Werkzeug für einen besseren Sound.
Mit dem Tone-Regler wird das CS-3 noch vielseitiger. Hierüber kontrollierst du den EQ des komprimierten Signals. Stärkere Einstellungen betonen die hohen Frequenzen und für einen schärferen, schneidenden Sound – perfekt für glockenklare Arpeggi, funkige Rhythmen und Passagen, die besonders herausstechen sollen.
