Dank der 32 Bit AD/DA-Wandlung mit 32 Bit Fließkommaberechnung und durchgängiger 96 kHz Samplingrate gewährleistet das MD-500 absolut unverfälschten Sound, der selbst die Fähigkeiten der besten Studio-Hardware in den Schatten stellt.

Zu den Effekten des MD-500 zählen zahlreiche neue Prime-Variationen auf Basis aktuellster BOSS-Technologie sowie klangliche Nachbildungen von Vintage-Klassikern, wie dem CE-1 Chorus Ensemble, dem Roland Dimension D, ‘70s Script-Phaser, ‘80s Tri-Chorus, und vielen mehr.
