Analog Man hat in Zusammenarbeit mit Jim Weider das Pedal herausgebracht, nach dem seit vielen Jahren gesucht wurde - den King Of Tone (KoT). Es gibt viele Overdrive-Pedale auf dem Markt, aber keines von ihnen hat den Ton der Gitarre bewahrt und die richtige Menge an Overdrive ohne Kompromisse hinzugefügt. Es gibt einige gute Clean-Boosts, aber sie haben einfach nicht genug Drive, um dem Verstärker wirklich die Verzerrung zu geben, die man sich oft wünscht. Analog Man, in collaboration with Jim Weider, have come out with the pedal we have been looking for for many years - the King Of Tone (KoT). There are many overdrive pedals on the market, but none of them have been quite right, preserving the tone of the guitar and adding the right amount of overdrive without compromise. There are some good clean boosts available, but they just don't have enough drive to really give your amp the distortion you often want. There are some newer OD pedals that have a great frequency response, but to me they sound too DRY, a bit sterile and cardboardy. There are also some nice sounding pedals available but their sound is too "saturated", losing the touch and feel of your guitar. That is where the King Of Tone pedal comes in - it has enough warm overdrive but still preserves the tones of your quality guitars and amps. If you are looking for a big change in your sound, or a lot of distortion, this is probably not the pedal for you.

Dan Armstrong Orange Squeezer (Juicer). Each is independent and can be used

Mini Bicomp (ROSS)

This pedal is based on the 1960s British Dallas Rangemaster, which was best at the time to give a treble and gain boost to the dark British amps. This allowed them to get a sound more in tune with the time, as guitars were starting to become a loud, bold, lead instrument. This pedal is a type of BOOSTER, not really a distortion pedal nor a clean boost- it does modify your sound quite a bit. It excites certain frequencies and pushes your amp to allow it to create rich tube distortion. The pedal colors your tone, with a crunchy overdrive, boosting certain frequencies, and warming the tone with NOS germanium transistors. It does not have a lot of compression and sustain like most OD pedals, but a more raw, open sound.

Beano Boost Mini

The MINI-CHORUS is the same as our normal chorus, but in a smaller, hand stamped box. It is the same size as our small compressors/juicers:

Same price as the normal Chorus, these have both battery and DC adapter jack standard, and the same board inside for the same sounds as the normal Chorus. It's a great, simple, small chorus pedal with awesome tone! It is available with an external MIX (BLEND) knob or depth toggle for $25 more each. The boxes on the mini chorus pedals came out looking great, really nice blue textured color. In 2019, now available with Stereo option (side jacks only, no battery room). LED on the Mini Chorus is standard.

Why does our chorus sound better than the others that are made today? Both the newer MN3207 and our MN3007 are rated for 2.5% maximum Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) at a certain input voltage level. For the MN3007, this level is 0.78V RMS. For the MN3207, it's 0.25V RMS!! This means that our MN3007 that we use can take a much higher input signal level, which means much more dynamic range, and less noise. Think of it as trying to play your stereo at the same clean loud volume through a 78 watt solid state amp or a 25 watt S.S. amp. The 78 watt amp will have less distortion and noise, and sound much better at higher levels.

Beano Boost (DC Input)
