This pedal is based on the 1960s British Dallas Rangemaster, which was best at the time to give a treble and gain boost to the dark British amps. This allowed them to get a sound more in tune with the time, as guitars were starting to become a loud, bold, lead instrument. This pedal is a type of BOOSTER, not really a distortion pedal nor a clean boost- it does modify your sound quite a bit. It excites certain frequencies and pushes your amp to allow it to create rich tube distortion. The pedal colors your tone, with a crunchy overdrive, boosting certain frequencies, and warming the tone with NOS germanium transistors. It does not have a lot of compression and sustain like most OD pedals, but a more raw, open sound.

The Dispatch Master V3 is a delay and reverb pedal, whose effects can be used independently or simultaneously. It has 1.5 seconds of delay time and a dynamic reverb that goes from natural and roomy to cavernous and deep. It features controls for Time, Repeats, Reverb and Mix and it's true bypass. The V3 version features the new Flexi-Switch™ Technology, which allows you to simultaneously use momentary and latching-style switching. It's based on the silent relay-based soft touch switching! It works by pressing and holding the footswitch for as long as the effect it's been used, releasing it, and resuming for dry sound. The F-Stop brings two effects found in vintage American tube amplifiers into one pedal. The combination of a tube driven spring reverb with pulsating "bias" tremolo was first introduced in the early 1960s and has become a standard sound for guitar players and other instrumentalists ever since.

The F-Stop has been designed to bring classic tube amplifier effects into a small package that runs off of a 9VDC pedal power supply. Internally, the F-Stop has 18v of headroom so it can live as comfortably at the end of your signal chain as it does at the beginning. The spring portion of the pedal is digital, but the guitar signal path and tremolo circuit is 100% analog. 

The sound of bias tremolo and spring reverb is unmistakable, and the F-Stop uses modern electronics to achieve an authentic recreation of these effects with similar circuit topography as found in tube amplifiers.

From buffer, to boost, to tone enhancer, the Prestige will prove to be a vital and necessary piece of gear for anyone's rig. With the boost knob set to zero, you have in your hands an amazing buffer/enhancer for long cable runs as well as a tool that will simply add some life back into your rig. When the Boost knob is in the first 25% you will get different flavors of the buffer/enhancer as well as slight volume increases. When the Boost knob is set between 25% and 50% you have a powerful, dynamic solo boost that adds definition, clarity and a little magic to your solos and lead passages. When set at 50% or more, the Prestige gives you the ability to break up your tube amp in a smooth and natural way resulting in real tube overdrive from the preamp section of your tube amp. The last 25% of the volume range can completely destroy your amp in the best way possible, resulting in rich soaring sustain, breakup, and on some amps even a smooth warm fuzzy growl.
