The POWER ACE NOI C eliminates ground-loop-based mains hum at the power supply input, providing a simple and reliable solution without compromising the protective earth connection. The unit is cleverly designed to plug directly between the IEC power cable and the power input of your amplifier or effects unit. It filters out the low-frequency voltage and current on the protective earth connector ground that are often responsible for ground-loop hum. Unlike a ground lift, the POWER ACE NOI C maintains a proper PE (Protection Earth) connection at all times. The POWER ACE NOI C has proven especially effective at dramatically reducing hum and noise with vintage-style tube amps. A handy blue LED indicator shows when the unit is powered and working.
