MultiStomp MS-70CDR

Die japanische Firma Zoom ist ja allseits bekannt durch ihre zumeist sehr günstig angebotenen Effektprozessoren. Begonnen hatte alles vor gut 20 Jahren, als die damals noch junge Company mit ihren miniaturisierten Geräten, wie etwa dem Modell 9002, die Fachwelt in Staunen versetzte. Eine komplette Gitarrenvorstufe mit allen erdenklichen Effekten in der Größe einer Jumbo Zigarettenschachtel – so etwas hatte es bis dato noch nicht gegeben. Doch im Kapitalismus schläft ja die Konkurrenz bekanntlich nie und so standen die Geräte von Zoom stets mehr oder weniger im Schatten der marktbeherrschenden Firmen, allen voran natürlich BOSS oder DigiTech. Zumindest im Pro-Sektor, denn unter den „einfachen Bodentretminen“ für günstiges Geld findet man zumeist etwas Passendes im Angebot bei Zoom. Eine Art „einfache Bodentretmine“ ist auch unser heutiges Testmodell, das Zoom Multistomp MS-50G. Obwohl das vielleicht nicht ganz der Wahrheit entspricht, denn in dem unscheinbaren Gehäuse in Form und Aussehen eines einfachen Single-Effektpedals versteckt sich durchaus mehr. Zumindest mehr, als es der Preis von unter 100,- Euro vermuten lässt. Das brandneue Zoom Multistomp MS-50G nun also im Test auf Amazona.de.

Der Zoom Driver 5000 ist ein innovatives Produkt mit den folgenden Eigenschaften und Funktionen: Analoge Schaltung für Overdrive/Distortion sorgt für vollmundige, natürliche Sustain- und Distortion-Effekte. Digitaler Signalprozessor (DSP) simuliert sechs Arten von Gitarrenverstärkern mit ihren allgemeinen Klangeigenschaften. Unabhängig davon, welchen Gitarrenverstärker du verwendest, kannst du immer die gewünschten klanglichen Ergebnisse erzielen. Mit den Reglern mit großem Einstellbereich kannst du den Sound ganz nach deinen Wünschen gestalten. Der 5000er bietet dir alles von leichtem Overdrive bis zu harter Verzerrung. Im Gegensatz zu herkömmlichen Kompakteffektoren gibt es einen Programmmodus, in dem du eine Reihe von Klangcharakter-Einstellungen speichern kannst. ZNR (Zoom Noise Reduction) mit DSP minimiert das Rauschen, wenn kein Gitarreneingangssignal anliegt. Starke klangliche Wirkung auch bei Inline-Verbindung.

The Zoom Driver 5000 is an innovative product with the following features and functions: Analog circuitry for overdrive/distortion assures full-bodied, natural sustain and distortion effects. Digital signal processor (DSP) simulates six types of guitar amplifiers along with their overall sound characteristics. No matter which guitar amplifier you use, you can always achieve the desired sonic results. Controls with wide adjustment range lets you shape the sound according to your wishes. The 5000 gives you everything from light overdrive to hard distortion. Unlike conventional compact effectors, a program mode lets you store a set of sound character settings in memory. ZNR (Zoom Noise Reduction) using DSP minimizes noise when no guitar input signal is present. Powerful sonic impact also when used inline connection.

Zoom Driver (5000)

The A3 provides remodeling presets for 16 different body types/shapes and 28 world-renowned acoustic guitars, allowing you not only to restore the true sound of your guitar but to simulate the tonal characteristics of other instruments as well. In addition, there are 40 onboard DSP effects, each carefully crafted to enrich the tone of acoustic guitar. For ease of use, these are organized into the following categories:

Body and model types 
You'll find many popular acoustic guitar bodies and types here, from Dreadnought to Jumbo, from Round Shoulder to Square Shoulder, and from Single Cutaway to Resonator. Also included are emulations of Martin 00 and 000 models, resin-body guitars such as the Ovation Adamas, and both twelve-string and nylon-strings—even upright bass. All A3 models accurately recreate the tonal differences between instruments, down to the bracing and type of wood from which they are made.

Dynamics Effects / Filters 
Shape and tame your sound with 10 compressors, equalizers, exciters, and wah effects, along with Zoom's Noise Reduction (ZNR) algorithm, designed to remove noise during pauses while still maintaining your instrument's natural tone. 

Modulation
Add the shimmering silkiness of phasing, flanging, chorus, tremolo, vibrato, detuning, and pitch shifting with these 9 effects.  

Delay
The A3 provides 5 different kinds of delays, including reverse, multi-tap, and self-oscillating delays. 

Reverb 
A dozen adjustable rooms, halls, arenas, plates, and springs that allow you to add depth and spaciousness to your sound. The A3's cutting-edge DSP microchip performs 32-bit floating-point calculations, giving it the ability to create sophisticated studio-quality effects such as the realistic simulations found here.  

Mic 
Three different microphone models: emulations of the popular Shure SM57, AKG C414, and Neumann U87.
