The "Sonder" is a very special chorus/tremolo pedal. It starts with independent fully analog channels for chorus and tremolo. These channels layer together with endless combinations of chorus with tremolo.

Fast chorus, slow tremolo, slow chorus, fast tremolo, medium... well... you get it, the interactive possibilities are endless.

The Sonder features an intelligent set of controls that activate a buffered bypass for either chorus or tremolo when the "Depth/Mix" controls are set to 0% (thereby removing them entirely from the signal chain).

The Sonder also has a true bypass when the bypass footswitch is pressed and a tap tempo function for the tremolo channel. When activated with taps, the Sonder ignores the "Rate" knob and matches the tempo of the input taps. As soon as the "Rate" control is adjusted, the Sonder returns to manual control.

The special has another trick up its sleeve. You can switch between a smooth "sine" wave tremolo or the more choppy "square" wave setting. But where is the switch? Just keep your foot on the Tempo footswitch. The blinking LED will change from BLUE (smooth sine wave, warm, Fender amp style pulsing) to RED (a choppy, harder, more affected square wave tone) to indicate you are now in this mode.

To increase the effect a bit, a slight boost circuit has been added to keep your Sonder loud and punchy.

Es ist keine Nachbildung eines anderen Pedals und das Voicing wurde speziell auf den Frequenzbereich eines Basses (oder tieferer Tunings) angepasst. Das Phat Phuk B ist ein JFET / Germanium Single Circuit Hybrid Booster - ein einzigartig klingendes Pedal, das den Höhen einen schönen Glanz und dem Tone ein wenig Grit verleiht. Es eignet sich besonders in Situationen, in denen man das Output Level anheben möchte und gleichzeitig nach dem 'gewissen Extra' sucht, um den Part besser zu betonen. Natürlich ist es auch ein perfektes Always-On Pedal am Anfang der Signalkette, dass dem Klang des Instruments einen speziellen Charakter mit etwas Grit verleihen kann. Durch den modernen JFET-Transistor in der Input Stage harmoniert das Phat Phuk B problemlos mit aktiven und passiven Elektroniken und Pickups. Während viele Clean Boost Pedale fast zu viel Output Boost bieten, was es aufgrund des weiten Regelbereichs schwierig macht, die perfekte Einstellung zu finden, kommt das Phat Phuk B mit einem bewusst reduzierten Volume-Sweep. Das Pedal bietet trotzdem ausreichend Volume und Gain, durch den verringerten Regelbereich ist es aber deutlich einfacher den Sweet Spot für das eigene Equipment zu finden. Das Wren and Cuff Phat Phuk B muss man einfach probiert haben - die Schönheit liegt in der Einfachheit und die meisten Musiker werden überrascht sein, wie oft er läuft!

The Wren and Cuff Phat Phuk B is a dirty booster effects pedal specifically made for the bass guitar. It is not a clone of any other pedal and was designed to accommodate tunings down to a typical low B and can be used for even lower tunings. The Phat Phuk B is a JFET / germanium single circuit hybrid booster - a unique sounding pedal which adds a beautiful sheen to the top-end and a bit of grit to the overall tone. It's a fantastic pedal for situations where you want a lift in your overall level, during a chorus or bridge for example, with a bit of bawdy bump via the germanium transistor. One nice feature is also the more modern JFET transistor at the input which keeps the pedal impedance-friendly when it comes to active bass pickups. While many clean boost pedals offer almost too much output boost, which makes it difficult to dial in the perfect amount due to the wide control range, the Phat Phuk B comes with a reduced Volume sweep. It is still capable to create a big amount of gain, but the trade-off is worth the extra control, which makes it easier to find the sweet spot for your equipment. Give the Phat Phuk B a try - its beauty is in its simplicity and most musicians will be surprised how often it’s on!

Wren and Cuff hatten schon immer die Idee ein Fuzz Pedal speziell für die vielen Bassisten zu entwickeln, die eine gute Verzerrung lieben. Einige Bassisten nutzten bereits das Original Pickle Pi, da es dafür bekannt war als Gitarren-Effekt außerordentlich gut mit den niedrigen Frequenzen eines E-Bass zu funktionieren und ein sattes Fuzz zu erzeugen, das am Bass besser funktioniert als viele andere Muff-Versionen. Also verbrachte man bei Wren and Cuff Monate damit, ein Bass Fuzz zu entwerfen, das auf der DNA des Pickle Pie basiert. Das Pickle Pie B Bass Fuzz verfügt über einen FET Buffered Active Clean Boost, um Volume Drops zu vermeiden, wenn das Pedal während des Spielens eingeschaltet wird. Die FET-Hybrid Clipping-Sektion erzeugt ein großartig klingendes Fuzz und ermöglicht eine natürliche Vermischung von Fuzz und Clean Signal, anstatt das Clean Signal einfach mit dem Fuzz zu überlagern, wie es andere Pedale mit Clean Blend machen. Der Regelbereich des Tone Stacks (Shape-Regler) wurde mit einem deutlich weniger ausgeprägten Mid-Scoop speziell für den Bass angepasst, was dem Sound deutlich mehr Präsenz im Mix verleiht. Die Gain-Range macht den Pickle Pie B auch bei niedrigeren Einstellungen sehr gut nutzbar und das Klangspektrum des Pedals reicht von einem 'schmutzigen', grobkörnigen, leicht angezerrten Bass-Sound mit Clean Blend bis hin zum übersteuerten, satten Drop-C-Meltdown Fuzz.

Wren and Cuff always had the idea of creating a fuzz pedal designed for the many distortion loving bass players out there. Some bass players already used the original Pickle Pie because of its reputation as a 'guitar' pedal, that could handle the low frequencies of the bass and give a nice spongy fuzz much better than most pedals of the Muff family, so Wren and Cuff went back to the drawing board and spent months on designing a bass fuzz, based on the DNA of the Pickle Pie. The Pickle Pie B bass fuzz features a FET buffered active clean-boost to avoid 'drop-outs', when you kick on the fuzz when playing live. The FET-hybrid clipping section creates a great sounding fuzz and helps the fuzz to mesh with the clean signal in a natural way, instead of just sitting on top of the dry signal like some fuzzers with clean blends can do. The tone-stack range of the Shape control was specifically adapted for bass with a much less pronounced mid-scoop which helps it to retain presence in a live playing situation. The control range of the Saturation (fuzz) knob makes the Pickle Pie B highly usable at lower gain settings and the pedal can go from a dirty, gritty, slightly over-driven clean-blended bass sound, to fully saturated, watch out for feedback, drop-C meltdown - and everything in-between.

Matthew Holl (Eigentümer von Wren and Cuff) arbeitet seit vielen Jahren mit J Mascis von Dinosaur Jr. zusammen. Nach Jahren der Zusammenarbeit trat Matthew mit der Idee an J heran, ein Signature Pedal zu entwickeln, das auf Js Lieblings-Vintage-Muff Pedal basiert. Dieses Pedal - ein Ram's Head Muff aus den frühen 70er Jahren, den J 1987 auf Tour kaufte - war das Modell, das verwendet wurde, um das Garbage Face zu kreieren. Matthew Holl (owner of Wren and Cuff) has had a working relationship with J Mascis from Dinosaur Jr. for many years now. After years of working together, Matthew approached J with the idea of doing a signature pedal based on J's favorite vintage Muff pedal. That pedal, an early '70s Ram's Head Muff purchased by J on tour in 1987, was the model used to create the Garbage Face. Matthew and J worked together to ensure that the final unit was a dead-on replica of his treasured pedal. That idea became The Garbage Face, J's full-size dual volume Fuzz / Treble Booster signature pedal. Following its release, there were requests for a stripped-down three knob version of the distortion side of that pedal only - the Garbage Face Jr. answers that request. This is your chance to have the magic of J's #1 vintage Muff in a small pedalboard-friendly enclosure, with artwork that captures J's love of bold colors and playful imagery.
