Das PLEXFACE beinhaltet vier der wichtigsten Sound-Ären der Musikgeschichte in einer Box, abrufbar mit zwei separaten Kanälen PLEXI und BLACKFACE.

Der BLACKFACE Kanal ist eine detailgetreue Nachbildung eines sehr bekannten amerikanischen Verstärkers der 60'er Jahre und besteht im Kern aus kaskadierten Feldeffekttansistor-Stufen anstelle der Vakuumröhren. Der VOLUME-Regler bestimmt die Lautstärke des BLACKFACE Kanals, regelt jedoch auch die Gesamtverstärkung und Kompression. Bei höheren Regel-Einstellungen kommt also die typische Soundfärbung und Sättigung hinzu, wie man es vom Originalverstärker kennt und liebt. Weiterhin kann zwischen zwei Grundsounds gewählt werden: BLACKFACE ('65) oder TWEED ('57), der TWEED-Modus liefert etwas mehr Gain, aber auch mehr Fülle und Wärme.

Der PLEXI Kanal ist dem legendären 1959 Plexi-Modell mit 100W Leistung nachempfunden, welcher vor allem in den 60'er und 70'er Jahren durch zahlreiche Bands bekannt und berühmt gemacht wurde. Es kann zwischen einem JTM ('59) oder JMP ('87) Grundsound gewählt werden, auch hier liefert der JMP-Modus etwas mehr Verzerrung, Fülle und Wärme.

The PLEXFACE combines four eras of music history in one box. It features two independent channels, PLEXI and BLACKFACE.

The BLACKFACE channel is a faithful reconstruction of a well-known mid-60's amplifier, with field effect transistors instead of tubes. The VOLUME knob does control the volume level of course, and the overall gain and saturation. Turning up the VOLUME knob will give you the light tube saturation this amp is famous for. Further, you can choose between two distinctive sounds: BLACKFACE ('65) or TWEED ('57), the TWEED mode is a bit hotter sounding.

The PLEXI channel is modeled after the legendary 1959 plexi model with 100 watts of power, which got very popular by various artists. You can choose between JTM ('59) and JMP ('87) mode.

Der BASTARD ist ein dynamisches medium bis high gain Distortion. Aufgrund der aufwendigen Schaltungsstruktur gelingt es dem Gerät, sehr moderne und brachiale Distortionsounds präzise wiederzugeben.

Der BASTARD findet vor allem in modernen Stilrichtungen, wo es trotz eines hohen Verzerrungsgrades einerseits um Transparenz, Dynamik und ein schnelles Attackspiel, aber andererseits vor allem um einen druckvollen Gesamtsound geht, Einsatz.

Die aktive 3-Band Klangregelung unterstützt den Gitarristen auf der Suche nach dem gewünschten Sound kompromisslos, da sie sehr effektiv arbeitet und weite Bereiche des Frequenzspektrums bearbeiten kann. Somit sind neben den eher klassischen mitten- und höhenreichen Einstellungen beispielsweise auch midscooped Sounds möglich, die in modernen Genres ein wichtiger Bestandteil sind.

The BASTARD is a dynamic medium to high gain distortion. Because of its complex circuit (several amplifier stages and an active 3-band equalizer) it’s possible to create modern distortion sounds.

The BASTARD is very useful in modern styles of music because of its dynamic response and transparency on the one hand and the powerful and aggressive sound with lots of punch and low end on the other hand. There are also tons of gain available.

The active 3-band equalizer is a very powerful tool and it’s possible to get a wide range of totaly different sounds. Furthermore it’s even possible to create mid scooped sounds which are used in modern styles of music.

The DUMBLEDORE is a dual channel low to medium gain overdrive which emualtes the sound of the legendary Overdrive Special by Dumble®.

It can be used as a medium overdrive or even as a clean boost because of ist transparency and it always sounds very natural and a tad sweet.

The DUMBLEDORE features an active 3-Band equalizer and one volume control for both channels, but each channel has its own gain control. The gain controls DRIVE and MORE interact when the second channel is activated to allow a harmonic change in gain.

Das SLO DRIVE ist ein zweikanaliges Overdrive/Distortion und emuliert den Sound des legendären SLO-100.

Die beiden Kanäle sind so aufeinander abgestimmt, dass sie sich eine aktive 4-Band Klangregelung und einen Volumen-Regler teilen, jedoch jeweils über einen eigenen Gain-Relger verfügen. Dabei beeinflussen sich die beiden Regler CRUNCH und OVERDRIVE bei aktiviertem Overdrive-Kanal gegenseitig, um einen harmonischen Übergang der Zerrintensität zu ermöglichen.
