Viele haben daraufhin eine etwas abgespeckte Version der Colour Box angefragt – eine schlichte Direct-in dirt box, ohne XLR, ohne 3-Band EQ… Einfach nur simplen Dirt. Also haben JHS einfach den Crayon aus der Colour Box herausgenommen…

In 1968 a piercing guitar tone came through the speakers on the Beatles “Revolution 1”. This is one of the most famous uses of plugging a guitar straight into a mixing console and creating the now referred to as “Direct-In Distortion". That tone is one of the most recognizable and unique guitar tones of the last 60 years and was one of the inspirations for the JHS Colour Box that we released in May of 2014. Many players over the last few years have expressed their interest in a unit that is like the Colour Box but more streamlined for the one basic application of a dirt box. No XLR function, no 3 band EQ… Just the dirt in an easy to use format for guitarists… So JHS decided to pull the Crayon out of the Colour Box.

The Archer Ikon is sort of a 2 in one pedal. It can be used as just a clean boost by turning the gain all the way down. As you introduce gain it will attenuate the clean signal but you will find that there is a magical blend in between.

This is JHS’ "Everything low to medium gain" pedal. The Double Barrel is for the player who needs a versatile but transparent overdrive at medium and light gain levels. You won’t find face melting distortion here, but you will find overdrive with the character and stacking abilities to cover most any tonal need. The right side is JHS' Moonshine V2 which is a highly unique and massively tweaked version of the most famous overdrive ever created housed in a little green enclosure. Front-mounted input, output, and power jacks allow for a tighter configuration of pedals, freeing up space on the sides that would normally be taken up by cable ends. Das Dispatch Master V3 ist ein Delay und Reverb Pedal, desen Effekte unabhängig oder gleichzeitig verwendet werden können. Es hat eine Verzögerungszeit von 1,5 Sekunden und einen dynamischen Nachhall, der von natürlich, geräumig bis tief und höhlenhaft geht. Es verfügt über Regler für Time, Repeats, Reverb und Mix und ist True Bypass. Die Version 3 ist mit der neuen Flexi-Switch™ -Technologie ausgestattet, die den Fußschalter sowohl als Momentary- als auch Latching-Schalter nutzbar macht und basiert auf einer geräuschlosen, relais-basierter Soft-Touch-Schaltung! Der Flexi Switch Momentary Modus wird aktiviert, indem du den Fußschalter so lange gedrückt hältst, wie du den Effekt verwenden willst. Lasse ihn los und dein Signal ist wieder dry. Um das Dispatch Master als normales Pedal zu verwenden, drücke den Schalter einfach einmal, um es zu aktivieren, und erneut, um es in Bypass zu schalten. The Dispatch Master V3 is a delay and reverb pedal, whose effects can be used independently or simultaneously. It has 1.5 seconds of delay time and a dynamic reverb that goes from natural and roomy to cavernous and deep. It features controls for Time, Repeats, Reverb and Mix and it's true bypass. The V3 version features the new Flexi-Switch™ Technology, which allows you to simultaneously use momentary and latching-style switching. It's based on the silent relay-based soft touch switching! It works by pressing and holding the footswitch for as long as the effect it's been used, releasing it, and resuming for dry sound. To use the Dispatch Master as a normal effects pedal, press the switch once to activate and again to bypass. The Dispatch Master V3 is hand made in Ohio, USA.

Weiter aufgedreht hast du genug Boost um deinen Röhrenverstärker in den Break-Up zu schicken und auf dem letzten Viertel geht’s Richtung Kernschmelze – im bestmöglichen Sinne des Wortes. Reiches, schreiendes Sustain, natürlicher Break-Up und bei einigen Amps ein warmer fuzziger Growl.

From buffer, to boost, to tone enhancer, the Prestige will prove to be a vital and necessary piece of gear for anyone's rig. With the boost knob set to zero, you have in your hands an amazing buffer/enhancer for long cable runs as well as a tool that will simply add some life back into your rig. When the Boost knob is in the first 25% you will get different flavors of the buffer/enhancer as well as slight volume increases. When the Boost knob is set between 25% and 50% you have a powerful, dynamic solo boost that adds definition, clarity and a little magic to your solos and lead passages. When set at 50% or more, the Prestige gives you the ability to break up your tube amp in a smooth and natural way resulting in real tube overdrive from the preamp section of your tube amp. The last 25% of the volume range can completely destroy your amp in the best way possible, resulting in rich soaring sustain, breakup, and on some amps even a smooth warm fuzzy growl.
