Mit dem Darkglass Electronics NSG präsentiert der finnische Effektpedal- und Bass-Amp-Hersteller ein sehr hochwertig gefertigtes Noisegate-Pedal, das allein schon aufgrund seines asketisch anmutenden Designs aus der Menge heraussticht. Lediglich mit einem Regler ausgestattet bietet es die Einstellung des Thresholds und mit Soft-Mode und Hard-Mode zwei Arbeitsweisen des Gates – mehr nicht! Ob sich das NSG klanglich mit seinem radikalen Ansatz von den Mitbewerbern absetzt, soll dieser Test herausfinden.

The NSG: Noise Gate comes as a response to these annoyances. Utilizing an adjustable threshold level to filter out sounds below a certain threshold, allowing for only the desired audio to be seized.

The EHX Bass Clone Chorus pedal’s core circuitry is nearly identical to the legendary Small Clone chorus, but with added features especially for bass. Chorus is a combination of modulated and dry signals. The Bass Clone’s Crossover switch cuts low end from the modulated signal so the pedal delivers a more accurately articulated bottom end with excellent note definition. The Treble control affects the whole signal while the Bass control only affects the dry half. Together with the Crossover switch they provide precise sound shaping that lets you achieve a tight, focused bass guitar sound with a well-defined low end and shimmering chorus on top.

The JHS Pedals Active A/B/Y is the perfect solution when you need to send one signal to two outputs with the ability to choose either output (or both) on the fly. Just plug in your instrument cable (or patch cable) into the input, then use the outputs to send signal to any combination of amplifiers, interfaces, mixing board, or anywhere else you want to send your signal. Because the Active A/B/Y has an output transformer on one of the outputs, there is no need for a ground lift as the transformer eliminates any hum. The Power MOD ISO DC 1 is a multi-power supply for eﬀect pedals and provides up to 9 electrically isolated, highly filtered 9 VDC power connections and one 5V USB connection.

It fits in a MOD slot on ROCKBOARD pedalboards, but, due to its removable front plate, it can also be used as a power supply for other pedalboards. The multi-power supply is designed to provide noiseless power to up to 9 eﬀects pedals simultaneously. Sophisticated filtering technology eﬀectively eliminates high-frequency noise. Separate short-circuit protection for each power slot protects the connected eﬀects pedals from damage in the event of a short circuit.

Separate LED indicate healthy connections for individual each slot. Should a short circuit occur, only the aﬀected power slot is switched oﬀ, leaving the rest of the eﬀects rig operational.

Daher können sich die Vorstufen von Gitarrenröhrenverstärkern schon mal warm anziehen, denn der Way Huge Angry Troll Linear Booster wird ihnen mit bis zu 50 dB Gain-Anhebung garantiert das Fürchten lehren. Diese mächtigen Lautstärke- bzw. Gain-Reserven sorgen für einen erheblich bissigeren und mächtigeren Gitarren-Sound mit mehr Punch, und verwandeln ein schwächliches Signal in einen Klang-Hurrikan!

Die beiden Regler des Angry Troll „Volume“ und „Anger“ interagieren wie ein Vintage Micro-Preamp. Der „Anger“-Regler – ein Drehschalter mit 6 „Fists of Fury“-Positionen – bestimmt das Gain, während am Volume-Regler die Ausgangslautstärke geregelt wird. Nur hochwertige Komponenten werden für die exakt abgestimmten Schaltkreise des Angry Troll verwendet, der die perfekte Ergänzung zu einem guten Gitarren-Röhren-Amp darstellt. Höhere Gain-Einstellungen des Angry Troll erzeugen intern bereits einen leichten Zerr-Effekt. Ein weiteres Sound-Monster von Mr. Huge aus den USA!


The Angry Troll is a boost capable of pumping up to +50dB of gain into your signal – WHAT? That’s a TON on tap, and if you really need that much, maybe you should take a look at your setup. However, this red bastard doesn’t just boost – a second control knob, Anger, is a rotary switch with six different Fists of Fury positions, which adjust the amount of gain created by the pedal’s op-amp. Interacting with the Volume control, you get a vintage mic pre amp type of sound, with a little dirt foe extra good measure.

Es verfügt über Standardregler für Lautstärke, Klang und Drive, ergänzt durch einen 100-Hz-EQ-Regler und einen „Curve“-Regler. Der 100-Hz-Regler ermöglicht eine Anhebung oder Absenkung der tiefen Frequenzen um 12 dB, wodurch der Bassverlust korrigiert wird, der oft mit klassischen Overdrive-Designs einhergeht. Der Curve-Regler dient zur Feinabstimmung der Eckfrequenzen und ermöglicht es dem Benutzer, den Charakter der Mitten- und Höhenwiedergabe zu formen. The Green Rhino MKII is a high-performance overdrive pedal that builds upon the foundation of the classic TS808 Tube Screamer circuit while adding significantly more tonal flexibility. It features standard volume, tone, and drive controls, augmented by a 100Hz EQ knob and a "Curve" control.
