Description
The Walrus Audio DEFCON4 is the secret weapon on singer-songwriter Ryan Adams' pedalboard and combines a 3-band equalizer, preamp and an additional boost function in a war-ready housing. The DEFCON4 offers three customized frequency bands that can be switched individually via a toggle switch to give single coils an additional bass boost or reduce trebles, especially for adapting guitars equipped with single coils to amplifiers set up for humbuckers. In addition, the center frequency and the bandwidth of the mid band can be specifically adjusted to each pickup voicing via three internal mini pots. Last but not least, the launch toggle switch provides a final boost of up to 10db to adjust differences in the output or to emphasize the solo from the band mix.Media
