ULTRASHEER ist eine Stereohall- und Vibrato-Kombination, die von den frühen digitalen Studio-Effektgeräten der späten 1970er Jahre inspiriert wurde. Sie ist in der Lage, dich von einem üppigen, verwaschenen Raum in einen flachen Raum zu versetzen, und das über eine intuitive und angenehm zu bedienende Oberfläche.

Der REVERB-Algorithmus basiert auf den Plattenhall-Sounds des klassischen Lexicon 224 von 1978. Die digitale Verarbeitung wird auf 16 Bit heruntergesampelt und folgt der Topologie, die in dem hier verlinkten Dattorro-Artikel beschrieben wird. Diese Mischung aus alter digitaler Verarbeitung und moderner, hochwertiger Hardware erzeugt einen satten Retro-Sound, den wir lieben.

Der VIBRATO ist ein weicher und transparenter digitaler Pitch Shifter, der die volle Bandbreite des Eingangssignals beibehält und den Klang nicht abdunkelt, wie es bei den analogen Pendants oft der Fall ist. Es stehen zwei Modulationswellenformen zur Verfügung: „Cycle“, eine Sinuswelle für klassische Leslie-Lautsprechersounds, und „Random“, eine geglättete Sample-and-Hold-Wellenform, die Pitch Warbles erzeugt, die an verzogenes Vinyl oder sonnenverbrannte Kassetten erinnern.

ULTRASHEER is a stereo reverb and vibrato combination inspired by the early digital studio effects units of the late 1970’s, capable of moving you from a lush warbled space to a shallow room through an intuitive and satisfyingly tactile interface.

The REVERB algorithm is based on the plate reverb sounds of the classic Lexicon 224 from 1978. The digital processing is downsampled to 16 bits and follows the topology described in the Dattorro paper linked here. This mix of legacy digital processing with modern high quality hardware creates a retro lush sound that we love.

The VIBRATO is a smooth and transparent digital pitch shifter that preserves the full bandwidth of your input signal and does not darken the sound which is often found in the analog counterparts. Two modulation waveforms are available, “cycle” which is a sine wave for classic Leslie-speaker-type sounds and “random” which is a smoothed sample and hold waveform that creates pitch warbles similar to a warped vinyl or sun-baked cassette.

Es wurde entwickelt, um ein breites Spektrum an Sättigung zu bieten, während der natürliche Charakter von Instrument und Verstärker erhalten bleibt. Zu den wichtigsten Bedienelementen gehören Volume, Drive und ein einzigartiger Sag-Regler, der die Spannung an den Verstärkern reduziert, um das Gefühl eines Röhrenverstärkers kurz vor dem Ausfall zu simulieren. Ein dreistufiger Kippschalter bietet verschiedene Optionen zur Höhenabsenkung, um die Helligkeit des Pedals anzupassen. The Barbershop is a transparent overdrive pedal featuring an original discrete circuit utilizing hand-matched JFETs. It is designed to provide a wide range of saturation while maintaining the natural character of the instrument and amplifier. Key controls include Volume, Drive, and a unique Sag knob that reduces voltage to the amplifiers to simulate the feel of a tube amp on the verge of failure. A three-position toggle switch offers different high-frequency cut options to tailor the pedal's brightness. This second version updates the original "Millennium Edition" with a smaller enclosure and top-mounted jacks.

Derived from the Black Hole Symmetry, TARS is inspired by its Singularity fuzz section and adds a gain setting allowing it to go from grainy low-gain sounds to round and powerful fuzz/distortion tones. 
It also offers a filter inspired by the legendary Korg MS-20 in order to create fuzzy-noisy textures and cut through the mix.

It introduces true stereo saturation and unstable modulations that degrade dynamically with each successive repeat, creating textures ranging from double-tracking chorus to crumbling, ambient soundscapes. The design integrates comprehensive MIDI, CV, and expression pedal control inputs along with an internal memory bank capable of saving up to 127 user presets.

A multi-color LED provides a visual representation of the signal level. Red indicates clipping. Orange flashes indicate the start of overload. Green indicates the presence of signal at or below the nominal level.
