The Twangtone Morricone, etched in Tex-Mex style, is based on the circuit of a 1960s Mosrite Fuzzrite, which provided a sawing garage fuzz sound with two silicon transistors, but has been updated with a further silicon transistor gain stage and a tone control (“Timbro”). Thanks to this extension, the Morricone can not only produce spaghetti, but also extremely versatile sounds ranging from fuzzy to creaky to psychedelic. The Hi-Cut switch ensures that the treble can be adjusted as required - depending on the guitar, amp and sound idea. Will you please play me the song of death now? But of course!
