The Boxidizer is a preamp effect pedal optimized for electric guitar. Its gain knob boosts your signal and lets you dial in just the right amount of grit for that classic overdriven tone. The passive EQ section includes bass, middle, and treble controls – all carefully tuned for electric guitar frequencies. A dedicated boost footswitch activates an extra gain stage for more drive and presence, perfect for solos or standout parts. The effect footswitch toggles between effect mode and true bypass – in bypass, your signal flows directly from input to output with no tonal coloration. The balanced DI output on a TRS jack allows the Boxidizer to double as a direct box – perfect for recording or live setups (DI works only in effect mode). The pedal can run on a 9V battery or be powered by a standard 9V DC center-negative power supply.
