The Tonehunter Deep Impact is a high-end preamp with unique features: It combines compressor and overdrive circuits to simulate classic and modern bass amps. The overdrive circuit can be fine-tuned from clean to fat distortion using the gain control. This brings back memories of old bass tube heads. In the fuzz position, the signal is even more pronounced with additional overtones. The switchable compressor circuit makes the signal even more powerful and dense - without distorting the basic tone.
