The FAT GENERAL MKII is an evolution of the critically acclaimed OTC-201 compressor. ThorpyFx and the original designer (Dan Coggins) have collaborated to deliver the next level of compression for guitarists. Unlike many other compressors, the FAT GENERAL MKII adds sustain and balance to your signal without unnecessary noise or signal “pumping”. You'll also notice that the FAT GENERAL MKII can be particularly transparent but with a sparkle and clarity that you were missing before. For me it has become an always on pedal, I cant play without it!

Aside from achieving fantastic sonic credentials the FAT GENERAL MKII is built like a tank with physical features such as recessed knobs and top mounted jacks. Robust build does not have to come at the sacrifice of looks, the FAT GENERAL MKII uses a combination of a beautiful stainless steel laser etched centre console wrapped in a tough baseplate.

Fat General

The PEACEKEEPER is our take on a low gain overdrive designed to suit all guitars and all amps whilst delivering the sweetest on the edge to crunch tones you have ever heard. Hyperbole aside, this pedal has some very cunning tricks up its sleeve, by combining a post gain active Treble and Bass circuit with a pre-gain Mids/presence control you are able to tailor the overdrive character and tonality to your exacting needs. The pre-gain mids control allows you to move from a very smooth mid scooped gain type to a more pronounced mid humped gain with all the subtleties in between. Post gain the active treble and bass controls adapt that focussed gain stage to achieve the tonality you desire/need. Used as a subtle boost into your amp (ala Klon style) or as an "on the Edge" overdrive, the PEACEKEEPER will make you wonder how you sound so good!

Peacekeeper V2

The WARTHOG started off being designed to be the distortion to beat all others; however it ended up being so much more. Through minute tailoring of the circuit, the WARTHOG delivers the biggest range of tones of any overdrive/distortion pedal on the market.  With an ability to go from crystal clean boost through to distortion the WARTHOG has sonic characteristics that match the military prowess of its namesake.  Its tonality is firmly in the American camp with sparkling cleans similar to the best amplifiers in that genre, With the calibre and gain controls cranked you get a crushing distortion with fuzzy overtones at the very extremes of travel.  All settings are extremely addictive, with a 3 dimensional and complex sound that makes your playing jump from the fretboard.

Warthog MKI

Das ThorpyFX Veteran V2 [Si] ist ein Dual-Effektpedal aus der "Vintage Reimagined"-Serie, das einen hochwertigen Silicon-Fuzz im Stil der Sechziger (ähnlich einem Fuzz Face) mit einem Rangemaster-ähnlichen Silicon-Treble-Booster kombiniert. Die beiden Effekte sind unabhängig und verfügen jeweils über einen eigenen Fußschalter, wobei der Fuzz-Bereich in den Boost-Bereich geleitet wird, um ein kraftvolles Stapeln zu ermöglichen. Der Fuzz-Bereich verfügt über Regler für Fuzz, Volume, Smooth (Eingangsimpedanz/Basswiedergabe) und Bias (Schaltungs"hitze"/Mitten). Die Boost-Seite hat Regler für Boost und Range, mit denen Frequenzen von basslastig bis höhenbetont ausgewählt werden können. Die V2-Version ist kleiner als die V1 und wurde für den Betrieb mit einem standardmäßigen 9V Netzteil mit Center-Negative-Polarität entwickelt.

The two effects are independent, each with its own footswitch, with the Fuzz side running into the Boost side for powerful stacking. The Fuzz section features controls for Fuzz, Volume, Smooth (input impedance/bass response), and Bias (circuit heat/mids). The Boost side has controls for Boost and Range, allowing selection from bass-heavy to treble-focused frequencies. The V2 version is smaller than the V1 and is designed to run from a standard 9V center-negative power supply.

The ThorpyFX Six Zero is an all-analogue Fuzz & tremolo pedal, designed and hand-built in the UK by Adrian Thorpe MBE and renowned pedal wizard Dan Coggins to celebrate 60 years of Andertons Music Co!

This unique piece of stompbox history started off as a simple question: how could you reimagine a guitar effect from six decades ago to suit the players & tone tinkerers of today? The resulting sounds range from white-hot sustain to shuddering psychedelic soundscapes, with a near-infinite number of sweet spots in between.
