Description
The Thermion PowerMuff is a compact analog fuzz pedal inspired by the classic Big Muff circuit with a redesigned gain structure and active tone control. It offers two voicings via a mode toggle switch: Classic mode delivers a dense wall-of-sound fuzz with long sustain and enhanced midrange presence, while Modern mode provides a starved, gated response that shortens note tails and reacts strongly to pick dynamics. The pedal includes three internal trim controls—Bass, Starve, and Cut—allowing deep fine-tuning of the low end and Modern mode gating behavior. Built in Spain as part of the PowerBolt series, it features true bypass switching in a compact metal chassis.Media
