FuzzBillion

FuzzBillion
DISTORTION
FUZZ
Description
The Teaching Machines FuzzBillion is a versatile analog distortion device designed for guitar, bass, and synthesizers. Its unique architecture features eleven 10-position rotary switches that allow users to "rewire" the circuit by selecting different components like Germanium and Silicon diodes or LEDs. This system offers a theoretical ten billion tonal combinations ranging from clean boosts and subtle overdrives to extreme fuzz and PLL harmonizing textures. The signal path flows from left to right, meaning early switch settings dynamically influence the behavior of subsequent stages. It includes switchable transformer-balanced line-level inputs and outputs, making it equally suitable for studio outboard use as it is for a traditional pedalboard. The numerical interface ensures total recall of settings by simply noting or photographing the position of the wheels.
