Die One Control Minimal Series AB Box kontrolliert die Signalführung im Setup und kann so flexibel eingesetzt werden um zum Beispiel zwischen zwei Verstärkern oder zwei Instrumenten zu wählen, das Signal bei Bedarf zu muten, den Signalweg zu ändern und vieles mehr. Die AB Box verfügt über einen Eingang und zwei Ausgänge bzw. zwei Eingänge und einen Ausgang - die Buchsen lassen sich in beide Richtungen nutzen. Verbindet man das Instrument mit dem Input kann man über den Fußschalter zwischen den zwei Ausgängen (A oder B) wählen und das Signal von dort weiterführen. Die Minimal Series AB Box kann auch als Eingangswahlschalter verwendet werden, um während eines Live-Gigs schnell und einfach das Instrument zu tauschen. Zwei Gitarren werden mit A und B verbunden das Signal läuft vom Input zum Verstärker. Über den Fußschalter werden die Ausgänge umgeschaltet und die rote und blaue LED zeigen an, welcher Ausgang gerade verwendet wird.

The One Control Minimal Series AB Box controls the direction of your signal path in order to select amps, mute your signal, control what effects you'd like to use, and various other uses. The AB Box has one input and two outputs or two inputs and one output - inputs and outputs can be used in both directions. Plug your guitar into the input and then run from the A or B outputs to your desired destination. The footswitch will select which output is used. The Minimal Series AB Box can also be used as an input selector. For example, if you regularly switch guitars while playing live, plug two guitars into A and B and run from the input to your amp. When the switch is pressed in the outputs will be toggled and also the red and blue LEDs will indicate which output is currently being used.

The RockBoard StageTuner ST-01 combines all aspects that musicians seek in a chromatic pedal tuner. Its large, bright, but not blinding LED 28 segment display provides an easily readable interface even from meters away. The true bypass does not affect your guitar's tone at all and its two outputs allow for either silent or audible tuning. The ST-01's reference frequency can be changed in 1 Hz steps from 432 to 445 Hz with a tuning range from 27,5 Hz (A0) to 4.186 kHz (C8) accuratly down to 1 Cent. It also feature a handy detuning function, which lets you drop your tuning by 1, 2 or 3 semi-tones. We wanted to put our spin on that iconic sound and create an homage that lived up to the Mythos standard. The Fates features finely tuned Rate and Depth controls so that you have the most musical range of sounds. We added Vibrato mode that turns off the clean mix portion of the Chorus but didn’t stop with just that simple mod. The Vibrato mod has been finely tuned to shift select components so that it does not have that extreme warble from the depth pot. Both the Chorus and Vibrato modes will run the gamut of swirly shimmer to rotary speaker like vibes.

NS-2 Noise Suppressor

The OCD was the first pedal to use Mosfets as clipping devices. Another first was their configuration as "hard clippers connected to v-ref" instead of to ground, as was the norm. These things contribute greatly as to why the OCD has such touch-sensitivity...why they react so well when the strings are hit hard or soft, and why they sound & feel different than all other pedals out there, 90% of which are just slight tweaks of the Tube Screamer.

The Demeter Amplification Tremulator in the small enclosure with red knobs is a rare, early version of the iconic optical tremolo pedal designed to emulate the classic Fender amp tremolo sound. Housed in a compact “bottom screw” box with distinctive red knobs and “The Tremulator” script on the face, it features simple controls for Depth and Speed, a footswitch, and an LED indicator. The pedal includes an internal trim pot for adjusting the bias of the optical circuit (accessible by removing the bottom plate), offers a slight clean boost, and runs on 9V power via a 1/8" mini plug rather than a standard barrel connector. Known for its warm, pulsing tremolo and legendary reliability, this version is prized by collectors and musicians for its vintage build and classic tone. The main differences between the small enclosure, red knob Demeter Tremulator and the standard TRM-1 Tremulator are cosmetic and related to production era: the early version is smaller, features red knobs, and is more collectible, while the TRM-1 is larger, uses black knobs, and is more widely available. Dieser Effekt, der in den Achtzigern in einigen berühmten Gitarrenaufnahmen auftauchte, war damals für uns “normale” Musiker kaum erschwinglich. Aber diese Zeiten haben sich glücklicherweise geändert. Pitch-Effekte sind inzwischen im Effektangebot vieler Hersteller zu recht günstigen Kursen zu finden.

The EHX Pitch Fork transposes an instrument’s pitch over a +/- three octave range and features three modes which allow the pitch to be transposed up, down or both, simultaneously. Es ist unklar, wie genau das Flanging entstanden ist. Möglicherweise war es das Ergebnis des Versuchs, die Grenzen der Mehrspuraufnahme auszuloten – vermutlich durch das parallele Abspielen zweier Tonbandmaschinen, die nicht ganz synchron liefen … Vielleicht hat auch einfach jemand im Studio versehentlich die Flanschseite einer Aufwickelspule berührt? Vielleicht war es Les Paul, vielleicht John Lennon und George Martin? Man weiß es nicht genau.

Klar ist jedoch: Die mechanische Studiomethode zur Erzeugung dieses Effekts wurde innerhalb eines Jahrzehnts so verbreitet, dass Unternehmen begannen, den Effekt elektronisch zu simulieren. Diese elektronischen Ansätze waren anfangs innovativ und aufregend, doch in den 80ern wirkten sie abgenutzt und langweilig.

Bei Catalinbread führen wir das darauf zurück, dass diese Geräte den Flanging-Effekt mithilfe eines LFOs erzeugten, der sich in einem vorhersehbaren Tempo auf- und abbewegte – und damit dem Effekt seine Lebendigkeit und Frische nahm. Als wir beschlossen, einen eigenen Flanger zu entwickeln, war uns klar, dass wir ihn so angehen würden, wie es ursprünglich gemacht wurde …


It’s uncertain what exactly the origin of flanging was. It could have been the result of trying to push the boundaries of multitrack recording, probably due to running a couple tape machines in parallel but not quite in sync… Maybe a guy messing around in the studio brushed up against a take-up reel flange accidentally?  Maybe that guy was Les Paul, maybe it was John Lennon and George Martin? It is unclear. But, what is clear is that the mechanical studio method of achieving the effect became, within a decade, commonplace enough for companies to simulate the effect electronically. The electronic approaches were pretty cool and groundbreaking, but by the 80s became tired and worn out. At Catalinbread we attribute this to the fact that these units controlled the flange effect using an LFO that went up and down at a predictable rate taking the life and freshness out of the effect. When we decided to design a flanger, we knew we would approach it the way they originally did it…

Der programmierbarer 6-Kanal Loop Switcher bietet Musikern zwei unterschiedliche Wege, mit dem Controller zu arbeiten: Im Play Mode können bis zu 36 frei programmierbare Preset-Konfigurationen genutzt werden, um mehrere Loops mit einem Fußschalter zu aktivieren oder zu deaktivieren. Im Live Mode ist jedem Fußschalter genau ein Loop zugewiesen, so lassen sich die einzelnen Pedale schnell in den Signalweg schalten. Zusätzlich zu den zwei wählbaren Modi bietet der Pedal Controller L6 MKII ein integriertes Stimmgerät, einen Mute Switch, ein großes LED Display und einen schaltbaren Pre- oder Post-Signal Buffer um die Impedanz bei langen Kabelwegen oder großen Setups anzupassen. Ohne den schaltbaren Buffer arbeitet der Pedal Controller L6 MKII mit True Bypass.

The programmable 6-channel loop switcher allows users to choose between two ways to interact with the unit. By choosing Play Mode, the user can save and recall up to 36 preset configurations that allow for the simultaneous engagement / disengagement of multiple loops with the press of one footswitch. By choosing Live Mode, the Pedal Controller L6 MKII can function as a traditional pedal controller with each footswitch able to quickly toggle on/off the corresponding loop. In addition to two play modes, the Pedal Controller L6 MKII also has the choice of a pre- or post- signal buffer to choose from to reduce impedance caused by instrument cables or other electronic interference. Without the buffer engaged, the Pedal Controller L6 MKII will operate in true bypass. Other bonus features for the Pedal Controller L6 MKII include a built-in tuner, dedicated mute switch, and large LED display panels to read easily from a distance.
