Description
The TC Electronic BQ500 is a compact, ultra-portable 500-watt bass amplifier head designed for stage, studio, and practice applications. It combines a high-voltage MOSFET preamplifier stage designed to replicate the dynamic response and tone of a traditional tube amplifier with efficient Class-D power amplification. Tone shaping is provided via an intuitive four-band equalizer covering bass, low mid, high mid, and treble frequencies. The unit features a built-in switchable Thrust compressor circuit that smooths out dynamic peaks while adding punch and sustain to the bass signal. Additional utility features include a balanced XLR DI output with selectable pre/post-EQ routing, a studio-grade headphone output with speaker emulation, and an auxiliary audio input for play-along practice.Media
