At the heart of the Silktone Fuzz are two germanium transistors, tweaked to get a huge array of tones and fix all the annoyances you get with a typical germanium fuzz. We wanted to nail the awesome tones everybody knows and loves when these transistors are biased to their sweet spot… and also when they’re not. With our unique bias control you can easily hit them all. Want that oh, so sweet spot? Dial it to 4.50. Prefer some fat sticky fuzz? Dial it past 7.50. Want spitty gated fuzz? Cool, me too - dial it to 1.00. ​

It cleans up the fuzz the higher you push the knob - it works in turn with the pickup sim by mimicking your guitar volume knob to get the cleaner sparkly boost/light overdrive tones a good germanium fuzz face is known for when you roll your guitar volume knob back a bit.

The Nano Deluxe Memory Man delivers EHX’s signature analog delay, chorus and vibrato plus some updates we’ve added including both Rate and Depth knobs for enhanced modulation control. It features a maximum delay time of 550mS, an internal user-accessible switch to turn delay tails on or off, true bypass switching when the tails feature is off and it comes equipped with a standard 9Volt power supply. The MXR Sugar Drive Pedal provides a diverse range of clear and transparent overdrive tones, from sauced up boosting to blown-tube distortion. It's based on a rare overdrive pedal that has acquired a mythical reputation among fanatical tone-seekers thanks to its unique circuit design.

The key elements of that circuit design are the Drive control and something called a voltage doubler. First, the Drive control on this pedal doesn't just increase the intensity of the overdrive pedal. It starts with your clean signal and then blends it with the overdrive effect as you turn it up, replicating the smooth transition of an amplifier going from clean to dirty. The voltage doubler increases overall headroom, which opens everything up nicely.

The Broadcast is a transformer coupled, discrete Class-A germanium pre-amplifier based on the classic broadcast consoles of the 1960s. In the low-gain setting, the Broadcast can cover everything from sparkling clean boost through to transparent overdrive, all with a healthy dose of volume available to push your amp. The Broadcast features a specially selected Triad steel-core transformer and a Germanium transistor. Advancing the gain on the Broadcast starts to saturate the transformer and the pedal’s discrete circuitry, giving rise to a gentle and dynamic compression coupled with subtle thickening of the mid-range. With the gain switch in the high setting and the trim control wound up, the Broadcast starts to deliver heavier distorted sounds with a warm and fuzzy edge to them. The Broadcast covers a wide range of driven and distorted tones whilst remaining dynamic, responding well to pick attack and the subtle nuances of every player.

Ein aktualisierter Clipping-Bereich sorgt für mehr Headroom, einen weicheren Attack und einen reichhaltigeren, dynamischeren Drive-Bereich als je zuvor. 2015 brachte JHS gemeinsam mit Stu G (legendärer Gitarrist, Songwriter, Produzent und Gründungsmitglied der britischen Band Delirious?) das ultimative Distortion-Pedal auf den Markt. Stu wollte ein Pedal, das alle Anforderungen seiner Studioarbeit und seiner ausgedehnten Tourneen abdecken konnte. NEU FÜR 2025: Ein aktualisiertes Design: Die Oberfläche kehrt als Hommage an das ursprüngliche Kilt V1 zu poliertem Aluminium zurück und wird nun mit klassischen Knöpfen im Expandora-Stil kombiniert. Abgerundet wird das Ganze durch ein überarbeitetes Kilt-Symbol, das geschickt sowohl auf die schottische Flagge als auch auf die römische Ziffer „X“ für zehn Jahre anspielt. Verbesserte Gain-Steuerung: Der Gain-Regler bietet nun einen weitaus besser nutzbaren Bereich von 0 bis 25 % und ermöglicht damit artikulierte Low-Gain-Texturen, die zuvor nicht zugänglich waren. Keine toten Zonen mehr, nur noch sanfte, musikalische Verzerrung von flüsterleise bis zur vollen Sättigung. Verbesserte Klarheit im Hochtonbereich: JHS hat den Hochtonbereich verfeinert, damit sich das Pedal besser aus dem Mix heraushebt, was besonders bei Live-Auftritten von Bands auffällt, wo es auf jede noch so kleine Klarheit ankommt. Erhöhter Headroom: Mehr Ausgangsleistung sorgt für einen reaktionsfreudigeren Klang in Ihrem gesamten Rig und verleiht ihm mehr Dimension und Gefühl, egal ob Sie einen cleanen Verstärker spielen oder mit anderen Drives kombinieren. Verfeinerte Kippschalter: Die Gain-Kippschalter wurden für besser nutzbare Gain-Parameter optimiert, wobei das ursprüngliche Gefühl und die Einstellungen der Pedale beibehalten wurden. Diode Choice Enhancement: A new clipping circuit adds more touch-sensitive feel and nuance without departing from the pedal's core identity. It has slightly more compression, distortion on tap, and a smoother attack.

Wir haben unsere Lieblings-Tremolo- und Reverb-Schaltungen aus der Vergangenheit intensiv analysiert, ihre klanglichen Feinheiten untersucht und sie in unseren aufwendig entwickelten Algorithmen detailgetreu nachgebildet. Flint ist im Grunde zwei Pedale in einem – Tremolo auf der einen, Reverb auf der anderen Seite.

The magical combination of tremolo and reverb is the earliest example of a perfect guitar effects marriage. Flint is a studio-class effects pedal that delivers this classic combination. We carefully studied our favorite classic tremolo and reverb circuits, examined the sonic complexities and faithfully accounted for every detail in our hand-crafted algorithms. Flint is essentially two pedals in one, with tremolo on one half and reverb on the other.

Inspired by the match-made-in-heaven of vintage effects found on 60s American amps, White Whale V2 sets out a new objective to pack bigger real spring reverb and tremolo sounds in the same pedalboard friendly enclosure (17 x 12,5 x 7,5 cm).

The 3-spring reverb tank assembly housed inside White Whale’s enclosure has remained the same, but we have upgraded the power amp driving the springs for increased headroom and wider frequency response. Following the signal topography of vintage units we have also upgraded the dwell control to allow you to dial the right amount of signal that goes into the springs for a mellower or splashier reverb sound. Real spring reverb found in 60s American tube amps and external reverb units featured a tube power amp driving the spring assembly via an output transformer, so we have delicately tuned an analog circuit to emulate the tube and output transformer saturation that was produced on higher dwell settings.

White Whale V2

Unter Verwendung von Operationsverstärkern anstelle herkömmlicher diskreter Transistoren rekonstruiert diese Verzerrer-/Fuzz-Neuauflage originalgetreu die V4- und V5-Schaltungsvarianten der späten 1970er Jahre, die für die wuchtigen Rhythmus-Sounds des Alternative-Rock der 1990er Jahre berühmt wurden. Drei Verstärkungsstufen und eine aktive Klangregelung sorgen für massives Sustain sowie eine dichte, körnige Fuzz-Textur. Ein dedizierter Tone-Bypass-Schalter nimmt die Klangregelung vollständig aus dem Signalweg und liefert einen ungefilterten, mittenbetonten Boost mit höherer Lautstärke und rohem Biss. Der ursprüngliche Entwickler Howard Davis arbeitete mit Electro-Harmonix und The Smashing Pumpkins-Frontmann Billy Corgan zusammen, um den Sound dieser Neuauflage zu verfeinern und zu authentifizieren. In einem robusten Druckgussgehäuse untergebracht, liefert das Pedal die charakteristische Mittenabsenkung für eine massive Soundwand und bietet gleichzeitig umschaltbare klangliche Flexibilität zur Durchsetzung im Live-Mix.

Utilizing operational amplifiers rather than traditional discrete transistors, this distortion/fuzz reissue faithfully reconstructs the late-1970s V4 and V5 circuit variations famously relied upon for the crushing rhythm sounds of 1990s alternative rock. Three gain stages and an active tone control provide massive sustain alongside a dense, gritty fuzz texture. A dedicated tone-bypass switch completely removes the tone stack from the circuit, yielding an unfiltered mid-forward boost with increased volume and raw bite. Original designer Howard Davis collaborated with Electro-Harmonix and The Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan to refine and authenticate the sound of this reissue. Housed in a die-cast enclosure, it delivers the signature scooped wall of sound while offering switchable tone flexibility for cutting through live mixes.
