The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. A uniquely designed steel enclosure made with quality components throughout. My goal was to spare no expense. I realize that sometimes in the world of guitar gear, there isn’t always one answer in choosing the best components and designs, so I just picked my favorites. This includes Switchcraft 11 open frame jacks, and a super quiet soft touch switching system via an internal relay.

I have been working on this project for the better part of three years, as a collaboration and with engineering by Jon Ashley of Bondi Effects. I feel that the pedal is unique in design and sonically unlike anything I have ever heard, especially in the lower gain and boost settings. There is a subtlety that feels more like a vintage pedal than a modification of a classic. There are two circuits present in the pedal, one distortion and one preamp boost, running at 18v via an internal voltage regulator. I made this pedal with the idea to create a distinction for my own sound, and what I found is that it is an extremely useful tool for capturing a lot of different types of sounds. I am most proud of the lower gain side, as I feel it is the most unique section of the pedal, but I must also include that the gain section is extremely sweet sounding throughout, especially for heavy and complex chords. There is a midrange punch that I love and a warmth and thickness that reminds me a bit of a ribbon mic. When the development of this pedal turned into something new and unique, it became the catalyst to starting 1981 Inventions, so I decided to make this the first official release.

It's back in stock, and it's better than before. The Resound V2 programmable reverb pedal has been re-designed to feature a dedicated expression pedal input, dedicated Left and Right output, and updated programs. The Resound V2 sounds even better than the first edition. We built upon the success of the first version and kept most the programs that people have come to love. However, they have been tweaked and fine tuned giving each program more complex characteristics equating in a smoother, lusher tone. We have updated the 5th program to be a "SWELL". 

The "SWELL" program reverses the reverb and blossoms under your playing. It also ducks in response to your attack. This is a very sensitive program for articulate players. It is very interactive and responsive to your dynamics. The ducking can be used in a percussive manner with a sharp attack of the pick or generate a rich sonic landscape with a gentler touch.

Das Herz des Fender Shields Blender ist bis ins Detail dem Schaltkreis aus Shields heißgeliebtem 1970er Fender Blender nachempfunden. Um diesen Vintage-Schaltkreis herum haben wir eine völlig neue Verschaltung und innovative Regler gebaut, mit denen der Fuzz variiert und gesteuert wird – natürlich bühnentauglich mit vier durchdachten Fußschaltern für die beiden Fuzz-Kanäle. Jeder Kanal hat dedizierte Lautstärkeregler zum Mischen des cleanen Signals und der Fuzz-Effekte. Auch die Effekte selbst können ineinander gemixt oder oktaviert werden. Smartes Detail: der Sag-Schaltkreis, der ebenfalls per Fußschalter aktiviert wird. Damit lassen sich je nach Anschlagsstärke krasse Stotter- und Ducking-Effekte erzeugen.

Now, through over four years of co-development Fender and Shields have resurrected this mythical 1970's fuzz and injected a subversive feature set, creating the all-new Fender Shields Blender.

At its core, the Fender Shields Blender echoes the tone of Shields' own vintage 1970s Fender Blender, thanks to carefully hand tracing the circuit from his personal fuzz box. Built around this vintage circuit are entirely new ways of controlling and blending the original fuzz voice, all crafted with performance in mind utilizing four easy-access footswitches. Two footswitchable channels of fuzz, each with dedicated level controls, offer the ability to blend the fuzz voice with your clean signal or to blend the fuzz voice with a beefy suboctave fuzz, while the sag footswitch introduces sputtering and ducking effects like never before heard, all controlled by the intensity of your playing dynamics.

Both foot switches have momentary and latching modes to inject pitch jumps, glitches, or instantly rewind what you just played. The Tensor is in a pedalboard-friendly enclosure with all jacks on top. All controls are immediately accessible with well-spaced knobs for live tweaking, and USB MIDI for recording and sequencing.

HP-2 is a distortion device, based on the harmonic percolator. A genuinely unusual design that is instantly recognizable. Known as a sonic doomsday device, but can easily be dialed down to add just a touch of harmonic richness. Harmonics (H) controls the input level and Balance (B) controls the output level. Rocker switches in and out the clipping section. Switch left for 1970s. Switch right for absolute destruction.

This digital reverb mini-pedal relies on an FV-1 processing chip to provide up to six seconds of decay time. It integrates a post-reverb analog overdrive circuit that allows users to blend distorted textures exclusively into the ambient trails without altering the core dry signal. To control the resulting high-gain artifacting, a built-in noise gate can operate in a standard configuration or switch to an aggressive post-reverb gating mode for gated reverb style effects. The layout features two tonal flavors—a bright option and a dark mode with pre-delay—while a top-mounted jack accepts the brand's signature Igor pressure-sensitive expression pad. Graphic styling for this custom enclosure was created in partnership with New York City-based designer Rich DiMaio.
