The TC Electronic PolyTune 2 pedal tuner is an absolute must-have for every guitarist. With the help of the polyphonic tuning engine, all strings of the electric guitar can be tuned simultaneously and precisely. Guitars with a tremolo system in particular are easier to control using the polyphonic function: The tension ratio of all strings to each other becomes visible and the influence on the other strings when one string is tuned. In addition, a classic single-note mode with needle display and an extremely precise strobe mode with +/- 1 cent accuracy are available. Friends of drop and open tunings will also get their money's worth with the appropriate settings. Thanks to the extremely bright and large LED display, the TC Polytune 2 is perfectly legible even in poor lighting conditions. Beim Hoof Fuzz hat sich EarthQuaker Devices vom klassischen, „russischen“ Big Muff Pi inspirieren lassen. Das Hoof Germanium/Silizium-Hybrid-Fuzz erzeugt ein natürliches und obertonreiches Sustain. Das Klangspektrum reicht von dreckigem Overdrive bis zu monströsem Fuzz. Der Shift-Regler verändert als „Geheimwaffe“ die Frequenz-Ansprache des Tone-Reglers, ausgehöhlt klingende „Scooped-Mids-Fuzz-Sounds“ sind hiermit ebenfalls möglich. Das Hoof Fuzz ist voll analog aufgebaut, verfügt über einen True Bypass und wird in Handarbeit in Ohio/USA hergestellt. The Hoof Fuzz is based on character of the classic green Russian muff. The Hoof germanium/silicon hybrid fuzz delivers a smooth, natural and harmonically rich sustain. It is capable of creating everything from dirty and organic overdrive to monstrous fuzz madness. The Shift control is its secret weapon of the Hoof. It changes the frequency response of the tone control, primarily on the treble side, making possible hollow sounding “scooped mids fuzz tones”. The Hoof features all analog operation and True Bypass. Das Boss DD-500, ein High End Delay des japanischen Effektgeräte-Herstellers, kann mit 12 Delay-Programmen, 32 Bit/96 kHz Signalverarbeitung, bis zu 297 Speicherplätzen und einem Looper aufwarten und ist mit dieser Ausstattung naturgemäß in einer etwas höheren Preisklasse angesiedelt. Allein diese Eckdaten sind einigermaßen imposant, aber die Marke Boss und der Mutterkonzern Roland haben bereits in der Vergangenheit – zum Beispiel mit dem DD-20, dem Space Echo oder dem Tera Echo – bewiesen, dass man durchaus auch in unterschiedlichen Preiskategorien in der Lage ist, uns Gitarristen mit amtlichen Delay-Sounds zu versorgen.

The Boss DD-500 is one of the few Boss pedals which are, because of their size, less pedalboard friendly. Therefor, it offers up to 10 seconds maximum delay time, tap tempo and tape emulation.
Other features of the stereo pedal that allows to choose a true bypass or a buffered processing, are modulation, expression pedal and midi input.
Furthermore, you can lead different delays (modulation models) on several channels and run the pedal serial as well as parallel.
All things considered, the 9V pedal with integrated looper provides an extremely extensive menu including tone shaping options.
Nevertheless, the Boss DD-500 which is still produced today is not really legendary and its sound is quite sterile. This is why this digital delay is a 3 of 10 on my cult factor scale.

Linesignale sowie hochohmige Signale werden bereinigt - der Sound wird dadurch nicht beeinflusst. Der DC FILTER ist stereo ausgelegt und kann dadurch Stereo- und natürlich auch Monosignale filtern. Sogar symmetrische Signale kann dieser kleine Helfer verarbeiten. Der DC FILTER ist als passiver Filter konstruiert, d.h. Sie benötigen für ihn keine Stromversorgung.

The LEHLE DC FILTER eliminates DC voltage from analog signals. Audio signals containing DC voltage cause ugly switching noise. Now, both line and high-impedance signals are cleaned - but with no loss of sound. The DC FILTER is of full stereo type, and thus filters stereo - and, of course, mono - signals. This little aid can even process balanced signals. The LEHLE DC FILTER is a passive filter, so it needs no power supply.

Triple Threat starts with a wide-range high gain distortion, with volume, gain, and tone controls to create a threatening rock sound. A classic phaser upgraded from the Pearl Tremor pedal by Donner is next with extended mod controls. Third in line is an analog voiced echo, originated from Donner’s first ever pedal, the Yellow Fall Delay released in 2013,  with warm analog tone and rich feedback. 

With upgraded circuit design and tuning the tone to Jack’s specifications, Donner combined three analog circuits into one metal enclosure, delivering unique analog sounds and versatile utility for musicians on the go. The Kongpressor is an analogue Class A compression pedal which adds an organic three dimensional quality to any rig. The pedal takes its inspiration from some of the world’s most iconic vintage optical studio units, employing a re-issue of the famous vactrol VTL5C3 optocoupler that was responsible for the sound heard on countless hit records.

At lower compression levels the Kongpressor’s effect is transparent but somehow fattening. It adds mojo and a glossy sheen to your core tone that you’ll truly miss when it’s bypassed. Even at extreme settings, the tone always remains musical with great feel under the fingers.

Der Feind heißt Kapazität, ein Problem das bei zu langen Kabelwegen undn ich zuletzt schlechten Schaltungen auftritt und das Signal High End kostet und es schwach und charakterlos klingen lässt. Ein Trugschluss, der dies noch unterstützt is die Annahme dass True Bypass immer gut ist, denn ganz stimmt dies leider nicht. Der Little Black Buffer kommt genau hier ins Spiel und versorgt dein Rig mit genau der richtigen Eingangsimpedanz, damit du am Ende einen klaren, natürlichen Sound hast, der klingt als hättest du dich direkt in den Amp gestöpselt.

This may be the greatest weapon you didn’t know you needed. For those of us who are a little “pedal happy” there can be some downfall to our tone. When running a pedal board with more than one or two effects, something called “capacitance” happens. This natural problem happens due to the amount of cable or line that your signal has to travel through, not to mention bad switching systems in certain pedals. The result is a very audible amount of high-end loss, weak signal, flabby bass and uncharacteristic pickup behavior in guitars. Another problem is the assumption that all “true bypass” is good. This isn’t true and actually can be worse than imagined. This is where the “Little Black Buffer” steps in providing the perfect input impedance to your rig and giving you the final result of clear, natural tone that sounds like you're plugged straight into your amp.
