The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Das Boss DD-500, ein High End Delay des japanischen Effektgeräte-Herstellers, kann mit 12 Delay-Programmen, 32 Bit/96 kHz Signalverarbeitung, bis zu 297 Speicherplätzen und einem Looper aufwarten und ist mit dieser Ausstattung naturgemäß in einer etwas höheren Preisklasse angesiedelt. Allein diese Eckdaten sind einigermaßen imposant, aber die Marke Boss und der Mutterkonzern Roland haben bereits in der Vergangenheit – zum Beispiel mit dem DD-20, dem Space Echo oder dem Tera Echo – bewiesen, dass man durchaus auch in unterschiedlichen Preiskategorien in der Lage ist, uns Gitarristen mit amtlichen Delay-Sounds zu versorgen.

The Boss DD-500 is one of the few Boss pedals which are, because of their size, less pedalboard friendly. Therefor, it offers up to 10 seconds maximum delay time, tap tempo and tape emulation.
Other features of the stereo pedal that allows to choose a true bypass or a buffered processing, are modulation, expression pedal and midi input.
Furthermore, you can lead different delays (modulation models) on several channels and run the pedal serial as well as parallel.
All things considered, the 9V pedal with integrated looper provides an extremely extensive menu including tone shaping options.
Nevertheless, the Boss DD-500 which is still produced today is not really legendary and its sound is quite sterile. This is why this digital delay is a 3 of 10 on my cult factor scale.

In den Fußstapfen des lange ausgelaufenen JHS Mr Magic kommt nun der finale Akt was Boosts angeht... der Prestige! Ob als Buffer, Boost oder Tone Enhancer, der Prestige wird als essentieller Teil deines Rigs erweisen! Mit dem Boost Regler auf 0 hast du einen erstaunlichen Buffer/Enhancer für lange Kabelwege, sowie ein Tool um dein Rig wieder zum Leben zu erwecken. Die ersten 25 % des Regelwegs bieten dir unterschiedliche Klangfarben mit leichter Pegelanhebung. Gegen 12 Uhr hast du einen kraftvollen dynamischen Solo-Boost, der deinem Sound genug Definition und Klarheit für Solos oder Leads gibt. Weiter aufgedreht hast du genug Boost um deinen Röhrenverstärker in den Break-Up zu schicken und auf dem letzten Viertel geht’s Richtung Kernschmelze – im bestmöglichen Sinne des Wortes. Reiches, schreiendes Sustain, natürlicher Break-Up und bei einigen Amps ein warmer fuzziger Growl.

In the footsteps of JHS’ long-ago discontinued Mr Magic pedal, they now bring you the "final act" in boost magic...The Prestige! From buffer, to boost, to tone enhancer, the Prestige will prove to be a vital and necessary piece of gear for anyone's rig. With the boost knob set to zero, you have in your hands an amazing buffer/enhancer for long cable runs as well as a tool that will simply add some life back into your rig. When the Boost knob is in the first 25% you will get different flavors of the buffer/enhancer as well as slight volume increases. When the Boost knob is set between 25% and 50% you have a powerful, dynamic solo boost that adds definition, clarity and a little magic to your solos and lead passages. When set at 50% or more, the Prestige gives you the ability to break up your tube amp in a smooth and natural way resulting in real tube overdrive from the preamp section of your tube amp. The last 25% of the volume range can completely destroy your amp in the best way possible, resulting in rich soaring sustain, breakup, and on some amps even a smooth warm fuzzy growl.

The Ruby Red is a collaboration with one of our favorite artists, producers, and writers in the industry, Butch Walker. He is most known for his breakout work in the Marvelous 3, as well as his long list of producing successes afterward such as: Pete Yorn, Pink, The Academy Is, Weezer, Panic! At The Disco, Taylor Swift, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry, Keith Urban, Fallout Boy, Ryan Adams, and many more. As one of the busiest and most in-demand guys in the industry, when he isn't in the studio, he’s on a stage. Butch contacted us to let us know that he loved the SuperBolt and had been using it in session after session. We started a conversation about his live rig for upcoming dates, and the rest is history. He needed one pedal that could do everything he needed and do it in the simplest and easiest way possible. Primarily playing a cranked Deluxe Reverb and depending on his guitar’s volume control for much of his dynamics, the pedal had to respond like an amp as well as feel like it was an extension of his amp. This is how the Ruby Red was created.

Er wurde ursprünglich in 2009 aus Bedarf an einem Overdrive Pedal entwickelt, das den Sound eines Amps nimmt und ihn aufs nächste Level katapultiert ohne Mitten und den Klangcharakter eines TS-Style Overdrives hinzuzufügen. Das Ziel war ein einfaches Pedal, verdammt transparent – nicht mehr nicht weniger. Egal ob du Strat oder Paula spielst, du wirst sofort feststellen wie gut das Morning Glory auf deine Spieldynamik anspricht und das Feel deines Instruments dabei 100 % intakt lässt.

Over the years the Morning Glory is undoubtedly JHS’ most known and praised overdrive pedal. It was created in 2009 out of a need for an overdrive pedal that simply took a guitar and amplifier’s tone to the next level without adding strong mid frequencies or any other characteristic that came along with the Tubescreamer style circuits on the market. Its goal was, and still is, to be incredibly easy to use and to be the most transparent overdrive out there. Whether you play a Stratocaster or a Les Paul, you will instantly recognize how the Morning Glory is touch sensitive and keeps 100% of your instrument’s feel in place.

THE KILT 10 - Auf weltweit 5000 Stück limitierte Neuauflage des KILT. Nach zehn Jahren erhält der Kilt einen neuen Sound und ein neues Design. Ein aktualisierter Clipping-Bereich sorgt für mehr Headroom, einen weicheren Attack und einen reichhaltigeren, dynamischeren Drive-Bereich als je zuvor. 2015 brachte JHS gemeinsam mit Stu G (legendärer Gitarrist, Songwriter, Produzent und Gründungsmitglied der britischen Band Delirious?) das ultimative Distortion-Pedal auf den Markt. Stu wollte ein Pedal, das alle Anforderungen seiner Studioarbeit und seiner ausgedehnten Tourneen abdecken konnte. NEU FÜR 2025: Ein aktualisiertes Design: Die Oberfläche kehrt als Hommage an das ursprüngliche Kilt V1 zu poliertem Aluminium zurück und wird nun mit klassischen Knöpfen im Expandora-Stil kombiniert. Abgerundet wird das Ganze durch ein überarbeitetes Kilt-Symbol, das geschickt sowohl auf die schottische Flagge als auch auf die römische Ziffer „X“ für zehn Jahre anspielt. Verbesserte Gain-Steuerung: Der Gain-Regler bietet nun einen weitaus besser nutzbaren Bereich von 0 bis 25 % und ermöglicht damit artikulierte Low-Gain-Texturen, die zuvor nicht zugänglich waren. Keine toten Zonen mehr, nur noch sanfte, musikalische Verzerrung von flüsterleise bis zur vollen Sättigung. Verbesserte Klarheit im Hochtonbereich: JHS hat den Hochtonbereich verfeinert, damit sich das Pedal besser aus dem Mix heraushebt, was besonders bei Live-Auftritten von Bands auffällt, wo es auf jede noch so kleine Klarheit ankommt. Erhöhter Headroom: Mehr Ausgangsleistung sorgt für einen reaktionsfreudigeren Klang in Ihrem gesamten Rig und verleiht ihm mehr Dimension und Gefühl, egal ob Sie einen cleanen Verstärker spielen oder mit anderen Drives kombinieren. Verfeinerte Kippschalter: Die Gain-Kippschalter wurden für besser nutzbare Gain-Parameter optimiert, wobei das ursprüngliche Gefühl und die Einstellungen der Pedale beibehalten wurden. Der Low-Cut-Kippschalter ist jetzt wesentlich amp-freundlicher und funktioniert gut mit einer größeren Bandbreite an Verstärkern (einschließlich Amp-Modeler-Pedalen und Software). Verbesserte Diodenauswahl: Eine neue Clipping-Schaltung sorgt für ein noch besseres Anschlagsgefühl und mehr Nuancen, ohne dabei die Kernidentität des Pedals zu verändern. Es bietet etwas mehr Kompression, Verzerrung auf Knopfdruck und einen weicheren Anschlag.

An updated clipping section delivers more headroom, smoother attack, and a richer, more dynamically useful drive range than ever before. In 2015 JHS launched the ultimate dirt pedal with Stu G (legendary guitarist, writer, producer, and founding member of UK band Delirious?). Stu wanted a pedal that could cover any ground he needed for his studio work and extensive touring gigs. WHAT'S NEW FOR 2025: An Updated Look: The finish returns to polished aluminum as a tribute to the original Kilt V1, now paired with classic Expandora-style knobs. It’s wrapped up with a refreshed Kilt icon that cleverly nods to both the Scottish flag and the Roman numeral “X” to represent ten years. Improved Gain Control: The gain knob now offers a far more usable range from 0-25%, unlocking articulate, low-gain textures that weren't previously accessible. No more dead zones, just smooth, musical breakup from whisper-quiet to full saturation. Enhanced High-End Clarity: JHS refined the top end to help the pedal cut through a mix with greater definition, which is especially noticeable in live band settings where every bit of clarity counts. Increased Volume Headroom: More output on tap translates into a more responsive tone across your entire rig, adding dimension and feel whether you're hitting a clean amp or stacking with other drives. Refined Toggle Switches: The gain toggles have been tweaked for more usable gain parameters while keeping the pedals original feel and settings. The Low-Cut toggle is now far more amp-friendly, working well across a wider range of amplifiers (including amp modeler pedals and software). Diode Choice Enhancement: A new clipping circuit adds more touch-sensitive feel and nuance without departing from the pedal's core identity. It has slightly more compression, distortion on tap, and a smoother attack.

Das JHS Quadra POG Mod ist eine Modifikation des Electro-Harmonix Micro POG Pedals. Es fügt zwei zusätzliche Fußschalter hinzu, die es dem Benutzer ermöglichen, zwischen vier einzigartigen Presets "on the fly" zu wechseln. The JHS Quadra POG Mod is a modification of the Electro-Harmonix Micro POG pedal. It adds two extra footswitches to the original unit, giving the user four unique presets to toggle between on the fly. The modification duplicates the Micro POG's octave knobs and adds independent footswitches to toggle between the original settings and new, external settings controlled by a secondary set of knobs. It allows for independent on/off control of both the octave up and sub-octave effects.
