Description

Dual-voiced analog overdrive pedal uses two audio transformers and a custom inductor circuit rather than traditional drive components to achieve its unique saturation. Designed around discrete components, it features a switchable voicing toggle that shifts the pedal from 1990s British pop tones to 2000s American indie guitar sounds. An integrated transformer serves as an active pickup simulator allowing the unit to be placed anywhere in the signal chain without changing the tracking dynamics. A specialized internal trim control alters the simulated cable resistance to taper upper-frequency harmonic response smoothly. The gain structure utilizes dual gain adjustment stages to actively sculpt the relationship between high-mid definition and lower-mid frequencies.
