Operating completely without active circuitry, it requires no internal battery and draws no electrical current from a power supply, allowing for streamlined rig setups. Dual routing capability is achieved automatically depending on how the inputs and outputs are patched into the signal chain. Standard mono cables facilitate the volume attenuation layout between instruments and amplifiers, while a specialized stereo TRS cable interfaces directly with multi-effects units or modelers when managing parameters.
