The Prosody pedal by Signal Wizard Systems is an impulse-response (IR) and effects pedal designed to transform the sound of electric or pickup-equipped string instruments into high-quality acoustic timbres using internal IR processing. It includes 16 pre-loaded IRs plus additional ones available through software, and supports downloading and customizing user IRs. Controls include a rotary selector for IRs, a blend knob for dry/wet mix, and a third rotary switch for effects such as EQ, reverb, distortion, and echo, which can be customized and locked through software. It features a high-impedance 3 MΩ input to support piezo and magnetic pickups. The pedal can be powered by a standard 9 V pedal supply or via USB. It is designed to be simple to operate on the hardware level despite advanced internal DSP.
