SM Octave Fuzz

VIBE
Description
This Scott McKeon SM Fuzz Octaveon Pedal features a boutique, custom-designed analog circuit inspired by a combination of the builder's favorite vintage Octavia-style stompboxes. Utilizing an all-analogue circuitry path, it rectifies and phase-inverts the guitar signal to produce rich, high-octave harmonics while canceling out selected low frequencies to sharpen the effect. The unit incorporates 2N3904 silicon transistors alongside high-grade through-hole audio components such as carbon comp resistors and orange drop capacitors. Guitarists can independently toggle the fuzz and upper-octave circuits via dual footswitches, allowing the pedal to transition from a percussive, low-gain boost to fully saturated fuzz chaos. Advanced tonal sculpting is handled by a "Wonder" low-pass filter switch that cuts frequencies above 600Hz for synth-like textures, a dedicated fuzz bias control, and a "Clean Blend" knob that preserves chord articulation.Media
