Das Eradicator-Pedal ist aus längst vergangenen Tagen zurückgekommen und wieder auferstanden! Vor 9 Jahren habe ich für einen Freund ein Gitarren-Preamp-Pedal gebaut. Ab und zu haben wir kleine Chargen des Originals herausgebracht. Alles wurde von Hand geschnitten und verdrahtet, sehr arbeitsintensiv, aber für ein sehr angenehmes Produkt. Vor ein paar Monaten haben wir beschlossen, das Original noch einmal zu überdenken und einen Weg zu finden, es besser und zugänglicher zu machen.

Ein echter Satellite-Röhren-Gitarren-Preamp in Form eines Fußpedals. Im Inneren befindet sich eine 12AX7-Röhre, die jede Verstärkungsstufe in Röhrenqualität kaskadiert. Das Pedal wird mit einem 9-V-Netzteil (mindestens 500 mA) betrieben, liefert aber fast 300 Volt Gleichstrom für die Platten der Röhre, genau wie im Inneren unserer Verstärker.

Brought back from days gone by, the Eradicator pedal has risen again! 9 years ago, I made a preamp guitar pedal for a friend. Every once in a while we would put out small batches of the original. Everything was hand cut, and hand wired, very labor intensive, but for a very enjoyable product. A few months back, we decided to revisit the original, and find a way to make it better, and more accessible.

A true Satellite tube guitar preamp in foot pedal form. Internally, there is a 12AX7 tube, cascading each gain stage into tubal goodness. The pedal operates on a 9v wall wart (minimum 500mA), but delivers close to 300 volts of DC for the plates of the tube, just like inside of our amplifiers.

Eradicator

The Fogcutter is the culmination of many years of experimenting with different distortion circuits, to try and bring out the best sounding distortion we have ever encountered.

The controls are Gain, three position switch, and Volume. The three controls consist of two distortions (one more vintage utilizing some very rare germanium diodes, the other more modern and crunchy), and one clean boost position.
