Blacklon

PREAMP
BOOSTER

Description

Blacklon / AMP02 is the second in the AMP series, following the Plexition, already used by many artists. Blacklon is inspired by the Fender Blackface era, particularly the amp built with the AB763 circuit, and aims to create a playing experience that feels like having an amp at your feet. Knobs. While tube compression and overload distortion are undoubtedly part of Fender's appeal, the clear sound with just the right amount of low and high cuts is perhaps the greatest feature of the Blackface era. While the Blacklon also has this basic tone, you can freely adjust the compression and distortion level to suit a variety of playing styles. Like an amplifier, this pedal can be transformed to suit the player's desired sound, such as a clean booster with a sense of compression or a distortion that freely transitions between clean and crunch depending on the picking strength. The tone can be succinctly described as "rich bass and treble separation," "clean with just the right amount of compression," and "the distortion has a distorted texture similar to an amplifier, which expresses the edge of the attack."
