The Underground Accelerator is the successor to both Particle Accelerator and London Underground.

Neither were perfect, but both had strengths that the other didn’t so, Underground Accelerator takes the best of both into one glorious preamp. It follows the same general structure of the London Underground, letting it get a little more grit than Particle Accelerator, but still keeping the deep low end that London Underground lacked.

It sounds great as a clean boost or mild overdrive on guitar, but bass is where it really sings, providing the rich bottom end missing in so many bass pedals.

*The newest version of the Underground Accelerator has an EQ bypass switch. Note that the main purpose of the EQ Bypass is to boost the gain of the pedal, and bypassing the EQ will produce approximately +30dB more gain. Passive EQs like the one used in Underground Accelerator are inherently lossy, so the bypass was added for those that want more gain and don’t need the use of the EQ. If you simply want a flat response without the gain boost, you can set Treble and Bass to minimum and Mids to maximum.

It wasn’t designed to replace anything else, just to give you More. It’s hard to really describe the sound, because it wasn’t designed to have an overwhelming sound, but moreso to compliment the sound you already have. It wasn’t designed to be a great rig by itself, but it was designed to take your great rig and make it More.

Im Jahr 2014 haben die Muff-Meister von Wren and Cuff die definitive Version der nicht-transistorisierten Fuzzbox entwickelt: das Eye See '78. Nach vielen, vielen Anfragen haben sie sich nun endlich entschlossen, eine Big-Box-Version dieses begehrten Pedals anzubieten.
Im Jahr 1978 wurde die Schaltung des Vintage Muff drastisch verändert. Die Transistoren im Inneren wurden zugunsten von Operationsverstärkern, auch bekannt als Op-Amps (integrierte Schaltkreise, oder ICs, daher der Name), abgeschafft. Diese spezielle Variante wurde nur etwa zwei Jahre lang hergestellt, und nur ein paar tausend Exemplare haben NYC lebend verlassen.
Der Eye See '78 nutzt dieses drastisch andere Design, um den monströsen und schwammigen Vintage-Sound zu erzeugen, wie er von Billy Corgan von den Smashing Pumpkins auf Siamese Dream populär gemacht wurde. Während die meisten Vintage Muffs etwas süßer klingen, ist der Eye See '78 knackiger und frecher.
Wie der Standard Eye See '78 ist auch die Big-Box-Version eine authentische Nachbildung der V4-Schaltung mit dem zusätzlichen Bonus des V5-Ton-Bypass-Schalters. In 2014, the Muff masters at Wren and Cuff crafted the definitive version of the non-transistorized fuzzbox: the Eye See ‘78. After many, many requests, they have finally decided to offer a big box version of this coveted pedal.
In 1978, the vintage Muff circuit design changed drastically. The transistors inside were scrapped in favor of operational amplifiers, otherwise known as op-amps (which are integrated circuits, or ICs, hence the name). This particular variant was only manufactured for around two years, and as such, only a few thousand ever made it out of NYC alive.
The Eye See ‘78 utilizes this drastically different design to produce the monstrous and wooly vintage sound, such as the one popularized by Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins on Siamese Dream. While most vintage Muffs are a little sweeter sounding, the Eye See ‘78 is crunchier and more ballsy.
Like the standard Eye See ‘78, the big box version is an authentic replication of the V4 circuit with the added bonus of the V5 tone bypass switch. Essentially, the tone bypass switch removes the passive tone stack from the circuit, resulting in a mid-bump, volume boost, and a significantly more raw and open sound. Of course, this switch renders the tone control useless, but we’re guessing that in this mode, you won’t miss it - this switch is just too cool.
This version features 100% through hole components on a vintage style circuit board and specially selected ICs for authentic vintage tone. Oh yeah: take a peek inside for a secret adjustment to fine tune your tone beyond the stock V4 circuit...
The attention to detail doesn’t stop with the circuit and components. As always, Wren and Cuff reached out to the two LA-based small businesses - they’ve used for years to create the heavy-duty folded steel enclosures used in many of their pedals. Anhand der Spezifikationen des in den 1960ern vorgestellten VOX-Pedals bietet dieses Wah-Wah denselben legendären Sound. Neu sind der Netzteilanschluss und die gepufferte Eingangsbuchse, die eine Klangfärbung des Gitarrensignals bei ausgeschaltetem Pedal verhindert. Die Induktionsspule dieses Pedals wurde ganz klar vom VOX-Original inspiriert und bietet eine entsprechend größere Dynamik und einen fetteren Sound. Diese Neuauflage ist besonders für Gitarristen aller Genres gedacht, deren Signalweg ohne Wah-Pedal unvollständig wäre.

Based on the specifications of the VOX pedal introduced in the 1960s, this wah-wah offers the same legendary sound. New features include the power supply connection and the buffered input jack, which prevents colouration of the guitar signal when the pedal is switched off. The induction coil of this pedal was clearly inspired by the VOX original and offers correspondingly greater dynamics and a fatter sound. This new edition is especially designed for guitarists of all genres whose signal path would be incomplete without a wah pedal.
