Mosphoros is RhPf Electronics’ wide-range overdrive built around one idea: making gain feel like motion rather than a switch between clean and dirty. It can sit in a rig as a high-headroom lift that keeps transients intact, then stretch into a harmonically layered drive that stays smooth even when pushed hard. The feel is the headline here. Notes swell, compress, and bloom while staying responsive to pick attack, with a long sweep from clarity to saturated weight instead of a single clipping point. Under the hood, multiple MOSFET stages interact as the gain increases, while the Bass and Treble controls live inside the feedback path, shaping tone and influencing how the gain engine loads each stage. A CMOS core with a naturally slower response adds to the rounded, elastic attack, letting chords feel wide and single notes turn vocal without harshness. It is also notably quiet for its range, making it a strong choice for players who stack drives, play dynamically, or want their guitar and amp to remain recognisable, only larger and more alive. Designed and built in Basel by RhPf Electronics, Mosphoros is a fully original circuit with its own mythology: the MOSFET Bringer.
