Description
The Radial SGI-RX is a heavy-duty, passive receiver unit engineered specifically for large-stage guitar signal routing. Functioning as the destination module of the Studio Guitar Interface system, it receives balanced, low-impedance signals from the SGI-TX transmitter over long cable runs up to 328 feet (100 meters) via standard XLR lines.Inside the unit, a high-quality transformer converts the signal back to a high-impedance instrument-level output. This technical correction ensures that your amplifier receives the exact impedance, clarity, and dynamics of the original guitar signal without high-frequency roll-off.Built with 14-gauge steel, it easily withstands harsh tour environments. It operates completely without external power, minimizing backstage setup complexity. For critical noise management on stage, the SGI-RX features an isolation transformer and a ground lift switch to instantly eliminate 60Hz hum and buzz caused by ground loops between distant power outlets.Media
