The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. The Highline Stereo is a full-featured line isolator that is specifically designed to address the needs of instrumentalists who use amp modelers, allowing them to seamlessly connect to a PA or a recording system while maintaining their full signal integrity with no added noise or distortion. The Highline features premium Jensen 1:1 transformers, which retain the full volume level from the pedalboard to the PA, while also providing galvanic isolation that eliminates ground loop noise for a clean and noise-free signal. The balanced outputs of the Highline Stereo allow for long cable runs to the PA, and the device also blocks phantom power so it never reaches the pedalboard. The Highline Stereo can be easily reconfigured for multiple setups with the use of two summing switches: these allow you to connect to the PA or your stage monitors in either stereo or mono.

Das Germanium Fuzz ist ein Fuzz-Pedal. Die Regler verändern den Klang.
Dieses Pedal basiert auf zwei Germanium-Transistoren vom Typ 2N527 oder 2N404.  Sie wurden hinsichtlich Verstärkung und Leckstrom bewertet und sorgfältig aufeinander abgestimmt, um den bestmöglichen Klang zu erzielen.  Sie sind in der allgegenwärtigen kreisförmigen Fuzz-Topologie der 60er Jahre angeordnet, auf guten Klang abgestimmt und verfügen über einige zusätzliche Besonderheiten, die Probleme lösen sollen, die einer breiteren Verwendung von Germanium-Bauteilen im Wege stehen.

DAS ERSTE FUZZ-PEDAL MIT AUTOMATISCHER THERMISCHER BIAS-TECHNOLOGIE
Die Vorspannung der Transistoren in diesem Pedal wird automatisch durch eine Schaltung geregelt, die die Transistoren mithilfe analoger Komponenten sanft auf einen voreingestellten Betriebspunkt erwärmt und einen gleichbleibenden Klang unabhängig von der Außentemperatur gewährleistet. 

The Germanium Fuzz is a fuzz pedal.  The knobs change the sounds.
This pedal is designed around two germanium 2N527 OR 2N404 Germanium Transistors.  They have been graded for gain and leakage and carefully matched to sound their best.  They are set up in the ubiquitous 60’s circular fuzz topology, and tuned for good sound, and include some additional oddities aimed at solving the issues that prevent more widespread use of Germanium devices.

The bias of the transistors in this pedal is automatically regulated by a circuit that GENTLY warms the transistors to a preset operating point using analog components, and ensures a consistent sound, no matter the external temperature.

The Broadcast is a transformer coupled, discrete Class-A germanium pre-amplifier based on the classic broadcast consoles of the 1960s. In the low-gain setting, the Broadcast can cover everything from sparkling clean boost through to transparent overdrive, all with a healthy dose of volume available to push your amp. The Broadcast features a specially selected Triad steel-core transformer and a Germanium transistor. Advancing the gain on the Broadcast starts to saturate the transformer and the pedal’s discrete circuitry, giving rise to a gentle and dynamic compression coupled with subtle thickening of the mid-range. With the gain switch in the high setting and the trim control wound up, the Broadcast starts to deliver heavier distorted sounds with a warm and fuzzy edge to them. The Broadcast covers a wide range of driven and distorted tones whilst remaining dynamic, responding well to pick attack and the subtle nuances of every player.

Gas Giant is a high-gain analog jumbo fuzz pedal with switchable voicing options for the tone control and a built-in noise gate. Inspired by the iconic transistor-based fuzz pedals built in NYC in the early 1970’s, the Gas Giant uses quad-matched transistor sets to ensure that each and every unit is perfectly dialed in to the “sweet spot” that can be so elusive to find in vintage pedals.

In addition to the Gain and Volume knobs, there is also a dual-function Tone control that delivers the traditional heavy bass, searing top-end and midrange Scoop found in vintage pedals, as well as a signature Pigtronix midrange-forward Bump setting. These two voicing options drastically change the frequency response of the Tone control throughout its entire range, providing a bevy of gargantuan fuzz tones in a compact 3-knob stompbox.

The Nero pedal combines a unique fuzz circuit with a built-in Gladio SC, activating both circuits simultaneously for a stacked drive effect. It features a "Comp" knob for compression management, altering overall compression, and two independent bias controls ("voices") for a range of fuzz and overdrive tones. Notably, Nero allows for flexible gain control, maintains high input impedance for pedalboard versatility, offers constant compression adjustment, and seamlessly transitions between gritty fuzz and full overdrive with a footswitch. It also achieves gated fuzz and nice cleanup effects under specific conditions.

Der Philosopher’s Tone von Pigtronix, eine Kombination aus Sustainer/Compressor und Distortion, wird seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr hergestellt. Nun bringt der Hersteller aus Long Island, New York, mit dem Philosopher’s Tone Micro eine abgespeckte Version des Pedals, das zum einen in einem kleinere Gehäuse steckt und zum anderen auf den Distortion verzichtet.

Famous for its noiseless clean sustain, the Philosopher’s Tone has staked its claim in the crowded world of compressor pedals. In addition to Volume and Sustain controls, the Philosopher’s Tone features a parallel Blend knob that allows the musician to mix their instrument’s original tone with the compressed sound effect. This technique restores natural pick-attack and allows more extreme sustain settings to remain musical. The Treble control provides up to a 6db cut or boost at 2kHz for fine-tuning the frequency response of the effect. The Philosopher’s Tone features true-bypass switching and internal 18V power rails for maximum clean headroom, even when used with hot pickups and line level signals.

Way back in 1976, the first commercially available chorus pedal was released.
