The 4-Play is an active multi-output DI box made by Radial Engineering. It lets a musician connect a single instrument input and switch between four balanced DI outputs going to the PA or monitor system. A shared tuner output and a mute footswitch allow quiet instrument changes or tuning on stage. Ground-lift switches on each output help eliminate hum and buzz from ground loops. The unit is designed for multi-instrumentalists — you plug in one instrument at a time and easily switch which output goes to the PA, avoiding cable clutter and reducing reliance on a sound engineer. The 4-Play is housed in a rugged steel chassis and meant for live performance or routing multiple instruments through a single stage setup.
